# 4 Radiation treatment finished -also had a session with my Speech Therapist - yes fighting vocal cord cancer has become a full time job . I plan on being the best patient that I can be . My goal is to win this battle.

Growing up in Chapel Hill, or Blue Heaven, This statement is true esp for those of us close to the rivalry.

That said, Dick is a good guy, saw him around Sarasota at the Oaks playing golf with my grandfather for many years while he was alive--would always stop and chat, sign whatever you had, and just a good salt-of-the-earth man.

Wish him a speedy recovery, he's in good hands down in Sarasota. Cancer sucks. God speed, Dickie V.

Danny Hurley is lucky to be alive. Back in the day he was contemplating suicide when his brother Bobby was in that accident that ruined his basketball career. Taking after dear old dad following his footsteps. Like father (St. Anthony's Jersey City) legendary coach like son. Good ole Jersey Crew!

I am also very fortunate to have a great TEAM handling my radiation treatments headed by RADIATION ONCOLOGIST DR MATT BIAGIOLI .

My 22nd Radiation treatment is completed - have 2 treatments Friday & that will complete the 4th week of my 6 week cycle. My TEAM has been so supportive thru the process .Just that at the finish line that the radiation was effective in making my vocal cords CANCER FREE !

Today is the start of week 5 of my RADIATION TREATMENTS ! it goes smoothly! They say the side effects could really intensify .That they r not severe.

Had dinner with him at a gala in the mid 90's. One of my all time favs
