Nessie, yes, I'm going to plug ODDS (Offshore Dedicated Data Services). Their net service is rock solid with the most profiling control than any web based platform. The greatest thing about ODDS is the auto-refresh java. The odds change in real-time without the need to refresh lines or the player getting caught submitting a changed line play. Doesn't happen with this platform.

The fact that this thread is titled asi vs dgs is troubling to the industry. There need to be more choices. I doubt if they will come.

If you don't offer a solid phone service you will never be a leader in the PPH industry. If a guy is looking to save a few pennies he's going to go broke real fast. Cheaper isn't always better and a real bookmaker looking for someone to look over his/her business knows this as the truth. No one is running home from a bar on a sunday because there book wont offer a phone, they are finding one who does.

Nes-I work with both softwares. ASI is solid yet expensive. If your using the ASI software you should update it ASAP for the newer features. The software is easy for the players and its good for lines managers/wager clerks.

DGS is excellent for horses, but I'm not a huge fan of the sports software. The casino is ok, but others are much better.

Overall, I would stick with the ASI platform for sports, however it can be extremely difficult for your programmers to work around.

Hope that helps.

Good luck!:103631605

I have actually used it from the clerk and cs perspective, what I really need is some good flashy words to sell our old customers on a new product.

Just giving u feedback like u asked. No need to be a punk. You'll lose more agents than gain with that type of behavior. I have forgotten more about this business then you will ever know.

take care and maybe I'll sit you down and have a drink with you someday.

NES-It's tough getting started. You might want to bring in someone that can write for you. An affilate/seo/marketing guy or someone of that type. Its important to be realistic about the business.

I wish you the best of luck!

Dgs Has A Huge Hangup---if It Doesn't Benefit Betcris
They Are Unlikely To Consider Suggestions.

Just An Example: For Parlays They Give You An Option
For #underdogs Accepted. We All Know The Intent Of This Is Positive Juice. They Consider A Line Such As
+1.5 -150 An Underdog. Also For Parlay Purposes,
Tonight Colts +4.5 -110 Is Considered An Underdog.

Come On Dgs--get Serious!!!!!!!!

For Years I Have Asked Dgs To Make Common Sense Changes, However, They Go Ignored.

Have used both..ASI is easier, and besides I am pretty bad compared to most guys who use computers..I am in my element when computers go down...

I agree, the best, and the most expensive, but sometimes you ask yourself, is it really worth the headaches to deal with the rest?
I've used them all and ASI is the easiest and friendliest software

Apparently we are having two different conversations here. What Im trying to say is that I have no choice in the matter, it is not my clients we are moving, the move is already set in stone and I am one of the ones who have to convince existing clients(not mine)how our new upgraded system(DGS)will actually benfit them.

Sorry if I came off as an asshole buts kinda what I do around here. Im the friendliest most proffessional guy in the world on the phone, and probably know a little bit more about the business than you are giving me credit for, but online and in person this is pretty much how I am(especially with a couple beers or a doobie in me).

No problem. But tell ur guys they are making a big mistake switching to DGS. Clients are going to hate the cluttered screen to bet. The backend isn't so bad, but the clients are what's most important and ASI wins hands down. Even a basic version.

We use ASI..updated version with added bells and whistles depending on the needs of the individual agents..reports they want that may seem unimportant, but they get what they want..when u think the customer isnt the most important part of your business, think again..

I look t it like this..I am a maitre D in a restaurant, and I fill the place every night because my waitresses are hotties, and I am such a pleasure to be around..I have a free concert there every night, and the place is rocking..If my chef sucks, I am finished no matter how great I am at everything else..

I feel the same way about the software..ASI is the best..my opinion..
