BREAKING: Dez Bryant and the Dallas Cowboys agree to a five-year, $70 million deal. (via Chris Mortensen)

Dez Bryant: Dallas Cowboys and Wide Receiver Agree to 5-Year, $70 Million Deal, Report Says

The deal includes $45 million guaranteed, ESPN reported. The average annual value of $14 million is more than the $12.8 million Bryant would have made if he signed his franchise tender.

Apparently the deal was done yesterday but he kept dropping the pen to sign it

Demaryius 5/70

You would have to suspend a lot of disbelief to think those 2 teams weren't colluding there. If the Pats did that with another team involving star players at the exact same position, it would be an issue. Cheating is OK for the rest of the league though....

Thats exactly what cheaters do, ask you to look at everyone else and not at them.

I'm not trying to go the "They hate us cause they ain't us route" but if NE and we'll say Seattle (only TE comparable to Gronk) both paid Gronk and Jimmy Graham the same exact amount of $ at the deadline right after the NFLPA said they have evidence of collusion, do you think that would be A. more of a story than this or B. the same non-story.

While the answer can't be conclusively proven, I think we know what it is given the present day media climate.

I hear ya...Penalize all of them 0 tolerance. Take a 1st from Dallas/Denver just like NE.

Let's rid the sport of all of this chicanery

Haha, I was talking about Patriots and their fans. You all try and deflect attention to others but we all know your team cheats and always has.

I just want the game cleaned up on all levels. Whether it be Denver or NEs cheating. Hypocrisy regarding the subject only hurts the leagues already tarnished image.

Like I said, if the Pats did that with Gronk it would not fly, so why can Denver do it with Demaryius? This isn't their first rodeo with manipulating transactions either.

NFL contracts are a joke since the owners can cut someone without paying the contract at any time. The only number that matters is the guaranteed money, the rest is for the cap

Vlad you worried the Pats retained the best kicker in the league? 4yrs 17 mill

41-14 is likely now. Before 35-21 atleast seemed like a possibility for y'all.
