Detroit Win Record 9-1-7

smokey: as said it wasnt a major play for me. although i disagree about goal being lucky. i thought joseph looked totally confused and his teammates in front seem to have NO confidence in him either. and do consider myself pretty good w/goalies (argh, cant have one post without appearing arrogant!). wings look slow and uncaring and im praying they get a low profile club like minnesota or anaheim in the first round so i can grab that big plus money for the series!

Bobby I have to disagree with you there, I thought the Wings played pretty good. Just on that goal Joseph looked bad, but otherwise he made some big saves. The Wings had tons of chances to score but the big reason why Colorado even won was the play of Roy. The Wings came out flying in the first period and they couldn't score, so their confidence was lost a little bit. Honestly, I don't think Colorado played that, if Roy wasn't in net, I'm pretty sure the score would have been different. I have to admit Roy is awesome and I don't think I'm going to bet against Colorado again, unless I know Roy isn't playing.

This reply is a little late but...I've been catching up on some older posts.

> i guarantee legace starts for detroit once playoffs start. i think they have fallen into the trap where they dont want to admit they made mistake in signing him...

This couldnt be farther from the truth. The Wings have to much money invested in this team to put their whole season on an untested playoff goaltender. Scotty's not been gone THAT long where they'd forget something like that. Cujo's just slumping right now. He'll be fine. And no Chelios and Fischer in the lineup of late. Remember...the reason he came here to Detroit was for a chance to win the cup. Do you really think they'd spend all that money on him and then when the playoffs roll around not start him??? C'mon now. Think about it. Once... and if...Yzerman comes back...this team will have a whole new attitude. I follow them very close and there's no need to panic at this time. May even be a blessing in disquise as it eliminates the chance to peek too early and some key guys are not being worn down by the grueling regular season.
