Only one thing wrong with this statement
Conservatives are always anti-establishment . We advocate smaller government, fewer regulations and more freedom
Liberals want more government in a naïve attempt to legislate utopia
This is just an example of what happens when liberal grows up and reality sets in
Liberals have been controlling the narrative, through the media, and educators through the unions for my entire lifetime
They controlled the house for 40 consecutive years, and 56 out of 60
They controlled the Senate for 30 consecutive years
They controlled both throughout the 60's and 70's
Since the 80's the Senate flips back and forth. Since the 90's the house has been mostly conservative. Every time the House goes liberal, they fuck things up so bad they get absolutely trounced in the midterms
Anyhow, the left as always been im control of the narrative
But it is a much much different situation, now:
- social media has emerged in an incredibly powerful way, to spread Dem propaganda and censor conservatives
- the Dem grip on other media/press/Hollywood/academia has tightened significantly, they are united with their messaging
- global powers are in the fray, they infiltrate, buy, influence our country in numerous ways, always favor the Dems
- the Dems are not the Dems we knew growing up, they are far left socialist, ruthless and leave nothing to chance...
- the GOP is infiltrated with Rinos (Dems in disguise), and do not take action, just whine about things helplessly
Sure, some things never change.
But you have to know when they DO, this is different and our Republic better do something, soon. If you feel confident the mid term voting will be on the up and up, then ok, but I sure do not think so...
