Senate Democrats are requesting the Government Accountability Office (GAO) open an investigation
into the costs of President Trump's July 4th celebration, including if it complied with legal
restrictions on political activity.

Democratic Sens. Tom Udall (N.M.), Patrick Leahy (Vt.) and Chris Van Hollen (Md.) said in a letter
to Gene Dodaro, GAO's comptroller general, that they are "concerned by the impacts and the precedent
of diverting limited Federal resources " for the July 4th events.

"Further, we are troubled by reports that preferential access to the National Mall was organized by
political entities such as the Republican National Committee, which furthers the appearance that
taxpayer funds were used to accomplish political objectives," they added.

Give it a rest already!

Interesting argument, I like that "illegal political activity" approach

How about we investigate every democrat who knew or should have known they were lying about Russian Collusion, and used a trumped up investigation for political purposes? I'm guessing that's some sort of abuse or power.

Baddafuckingbing, we could drain half the swamp

[FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]My favorite line was "concerned by the impacts and the precedent of diverting limited Federal resources"

When was the last time a Democrat worried about spending someone else's money?

When I was young, I believed in freedom and opportunity and self reliance and it's up to me to improve my economic standing. I even believed in fair trade and border security (democrats used to advocate border security too)

Now it's about
Racism
White supremacist
free education
free housing
free food
no laws
no borders
free medicare for all
no work ethic
stupid & worthless college degrees
lies
hatred
anger
professional victims
riots
violence
hating america
rewriting history
searching for reasons for trumped up outrage

The left has really gone off the rails, it's somewhat surreal, good and smart democrats (albeit misguided bleeding hearts) are staring in disbelief

Who's to blame?

Our media
Our politicians
Parents
Educators

this is the America they're molding

The 90 Communist Democrats that voted to impeach President Trump........
Bucking House Democratic leaders, Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) forced a floor vote Wednesday on whether the chamber go forward with an effort to impeach President Trump, a highly charged topic that has stoked divisions within the caucus.
A majority of Democrats, along with the chamber's Republicans, voted to table the measure, while 94 Democrats joined Green in going on record to accuse Trump of inflaming racial tensions following a recent episode in which he urged four female lawmakers of color to “go back” to other countries.

Most Democrats who voted Wednesday to move toward impeachment were liberal lawmakers who had already endorsed the push to launch an impeachment inquiry against the president.
Still, more than a dozen of those who sided with Green Wednesday had not endorsed that effort yet formally, including Reps. I don't think much of him but he does have a sense of humor.

Struggling Democrat candidate for president Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke jokingly
agreed that ‘Don’t Be a Fuckstick’ could be his new campaign slogan.

When all else fails I suppose.
