No post on this thread from Guesser or Aktard. Go figure. The people have sent a message, yes Obama they do want Change but for the better not for the worst and yes now we actually do have some hope. I love the fact that Harry Reid has to take a back seat. Obama used him and he is just now beginning to figure it out.

May we never see their kind again.
There were a lot of losers yesterday, and almost all of them were Democrats, so we’re having a pretty happy day around here!
But it wasn’t only candidates who lost. It was also notions Democrats have used for years now to manipulate people into voting for them. These silly memes and narratives also lost last night, and that should not escape our attention. Here are the biggest losers in this category:
The race card. That dog didn’t hunt the way many Democrats thought it would. In addition to the constant suggestions that Republicans are racist just because, some candidates tried to call Ferguson a platform to discuss what we want America to be. We already know what we want America to be! The greatest country in the world. Scott Walker said it best, that government can provide the opportunity, but it’s up to you to turn that opportunity into a reality. The race card didn’t work in North Carolina either. That’s where they were tossing around a picture with a lynching in the background, designed to imply to blacks that Republicans want to lynch them. What nonsense! And the voters have figured it out, too.
The phony war on women. Democrats really go hard with this one. Colorado Sen. Mark Udall talked so much about women’s reproductive issues, he earned himself the nickname Mark Uterus. He lost. We all know about the Abortion Barbie, aka Wendy Davis, in Texas. That didn’t work out so well, did it? Joni Ernst, who won the Senate race in Iowa, said it best when she was asked by a reporter about the so-called war on women: “I’ve been to war, and this is not a war.” Yes. Rest in peace, war on women. You were always a crock.
The minimum wage as a vote-buying gambit. Democrats want America to believe this is a bellwether issue. But it’s not. Especially in industrial states, Democrats who pushed the minimum wage issue lost almost across the board. People are realizing that if you want to improve the national economy, or their own state economies, you’ve got to pass policies that reflect less government, less taxation and less regulation. None of this is what you’re doing when you perpetually push a higher minimum wage.
Hispanic pandering. Democrats treat Hispanics the same way they treat blacks. They take them for granted and pander to them. They make no bones about the fact that they believe they’ve always got the black vote in their back pocket, although we saw yesterday that black voters are wising up. With all of the talk about immigration reform, they were trying to pander to Hispanics. But Hispanics didn’t fall for it. When Obama talked about executive amnesty, but then said he would postpone the action until after the election . . . look, Hispanics aren’t stupid. They know they’re being played and they were having none of it yesterday.
Ignorance. People went to the polls better informed. They didn’t overreact to the negative advertising. Many people ignored it. Many put it in perspective. Many saw it as a cautionary flag. But Democrats can’t win without huge support from low-information voters, and last night, ignorance lost.
There will always be more Democrat candidates running for office, and we will have to defeat them. But it would be nice if we never have to see these five losers again.
