The rules are based on the math used in the system and back-checked to maximize removal of the non-winning sides and to select the sides that should be wagered with additional units. For example, had UAB's system results been 15 points higher it would have qualified as a TP as an away team. If UAB was a home team then an additional 9.5 points would have qualified it as a TP instead of a QP. As with everything though, past performance does not guarantee future results and the system has been designed to maximize percentages (similar to counting cards in BlackJack).
