DeAngelo Williams - RB - Panthers DeAngelo Williams (ankle) missed Panthers practice again on Friday and is listed as doubtful for Week 16.
The "doubtful" tag means the team believes Williams has a 25 percent or worse chance to be available for his normal duties against the Giants. Jonathan Stewart appears to be in line to start, and will be a high-quality RB2 against a New York defense that's given up the third most rushing touchdowns in the league. Williams' absence would also likely mean that he'll finish out of the top-ten fantasy running backs after ranking first in 2008. December 25

DeAngelo Williams - RB - Panthers DeAngelo Williams (doubtful, ankle) traveled with the Panthers to New York for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Tyrell Sutton (calf) stayed home and is out. The fact that Williams made the trip is a glimmer of hope that he will play, but we still doubt it. We'll know Williams' status by noon Sunday and Jonathan Stewart owners need to be on watch. December 26 - 3:39 p.m. ET
