This looks like a fat guy in a whale costume minus the fins and barnacles. But notice he/she/it has stylish sunglasses. Does he/she/it think that people will notice the sunglasses and overlook the tons of blubber? This is exactly a good example of lipstick on a pig, or in this case a whale.
People used to wear sunglasses so people wouldn't recognize them. One of my Mom's favorite jokes was in the realm of elephant jokes. The joke goes:
Q: Why did the elephant wear sunglasses?
A: So no one would recognize him.
The joke was an absurdity of using one concept (that of sunglasses hiding the identity of the wearer) with the realization that no matter what the elephant wore it would still be recognized. This principle works with this picture too.
