Not my contest but I think we need to have a consistent policy re lines for all participants.
To get the totals lines:
Go to "free odds"
click on "Gm#" for the game you are interested in. You will see the odds as they changed after the game opened to the present.
For instance, when 2ese posted at 1:21 PM the odds on the total were "8' Over -115 Under -105".
You cannot always assume a 10cent line as the spread changes throughout the day, at least up to 20cent lines.
But if anyone wants to bet totals the above should be the procedure for procuring the line at the time of post for all of us.
Think that specific process should be in the rules so that we are all playing by the same rules.
I'm happy that you and Harry Carey decided to run this thing Bourn. Hopefully we can do it every month. But we need to get to consistent rules for all of us. A little confusing now, but we'll get used to it and we'll all be playing by the same rules going forward.

First off, thanks for the constructive comments. Here are my thoughts.

not specific to 5dimes. Therefore that method should not be used, it will result in varying lines.
We have decided on specifically using 5dimes lines.
To see the 5dimes history, click the line for the game of interest in the 5dimes area. See picture:
That is one method that contestants can use to get the current line. It is also how the line will be verified as having been valid at that time.
However, you don't really need to go into the history to see what the current line is. The main Free Odds screen shows both sides (dog and fave) of the ML/RL. The spread on 5dimes totals is always 20 cents. Always. I know the spread varies on the ML/RL depending on how high it is, but not on totals.
If there is no spread listed next to the total, it is -110 on both sides.
Contestants should always post the juice, even if it is -110 and therefore not listed next to the total on the odds screen.
If the game total in the 5dimes area simply says 8.5, then post o8.5 -110 or u8.5 -110.
This should not be this difficult.
