ethereal has Vitalik and he says dumb things off the cuff sometimes

in todays environment like thatbtc does not have a face to say the wrong thing

even if Elon owned bitcoin for example it would prevent some people from using it.

I like the faceless aspect

and I like Algo for many reasons but throw you tps etc out the window

algos smart contract programming language is user friendly and the. fix is in on. ALGO

forget everything else than this, the fix is in on algo

they can wLK INTO the front door of any of the largest entities and have meaningful dialogue

wal mart - amazon etc whenever they time comes they need smart contracts you can bet they will
be on algo over ethereum

im almost certain usdc is on ALGOS chain and Blackrock is involved

algo is a very very very connected organization and they are playing ball

not too mention being carbon negative just for the loons that give a shit about that

but they check that box
I think that Cardano still has shot. Hoskinson helps being all over the place but can hurt making enemies. He has to avoid making more enemies. If Blackrock is more than a rumor, that could be a game changer. ETH is still so far ahead that if they are able to reduce fees, they'll be tough to overcome. Name recognition is very important and ethereum has that. I still love your play on ALGO because of the upside.

Great call with ALGO for the future. They've gone under the radar and haven't hit yet. They partnered with FIFI and will get a lot more exposure at the World Cup. I don't think that they'll cut into ETH if ETH2 has 100k/TPS. Right now no one has built on Algo but they have many directions that they could go.

sm
Metro how long you been in Algo?

just now .. have tracked it for 2 years .. almost fomo'd near the all time high (2.40 ) ..

every time I went to buy I did not

Just started investing now for a long term hold.. sub .50 , all buys in the mid .40s .. .44-.46

the thing is this is a long term investment , there are other opportunities out there better for the short term

but I have been plotting and hold off and suggesting it for a long time

I take that back .. I made 20-30 percent on damn near day trades every time I drew back 30 percent on bad days during one stretch not lo9ng ago .. but those were trades win or lose I was jumping in for the quick gap up to regain 30 percent .. usually made 20 ish on those but I don't count that

the coins buying now are getting put away for long term

What is the yield if you buy today? I think crypto alts got a leg or two more down as fed continues to tighten but I might get back in that (was in it and took a small loss earlier this year) 1 as a spec play at some point

Always appreciate the input metro

Fwiw, that FIFA deal does seem useless though. Just a headline grab. Guess it could help with further longterm adoption though.

I have bias against certain coins, very immature but Cardano is one of them ..

I donot like Hoskinson and do not like the holders ( same for XRP and a few others )

but I am admitting that I am extremely biased against them.

useless comment but just my .02

For the next bull run you'll want APE (all things Yuga Labs, move to earn such as FITFI, many metaverse projects (token, land, NFT) such as Illuvium. VeVe NFTs will be huge, their OMI token should boom.

BUMP for anyone else wanting to dig into what Raidders shared

Raiders any opinion on FLOW blockchain ?

also came close to FOMO'ing into that at about 15.00 before their run to 40.00

I think its a few dollars at the moment totally fucking destroyed

dapper labs really killing it and their platform is lightweight/ easy lifting for nfts

40.00 seemed crazy but with the brands they have its extremely shill-able

having said that I never bought and dont plan on. it

2% does seem like the optimal rate to slowly steal the public’s money without them bitching about it too much

It's one of those things that you have to keep pounding in a person's head. Sooner or later everyone with start to check into it as they did with Crypto.com and FTX . It's just a start for ALGO.
