Not sure if punz is telling the truth though.

Wouldn't consider myself a good guy. I'd consider it semi-reckless with money. I was blessed as a kid and my parents were good people and worked there butt off to get where they were. They rewarded me as a child and set me up for a while. Then I worked and got to where I want to be. Soon will have a very rewarding job and to be honest I just don't put as much value in money as I should.

Also I don't necessarily feel sympathy for him, but I've had friends in that spot before and it's scary and painful to watch. Debt in any form is scary and if he's truly 18 and experiencing this I can feel for him. Life isn't easy for everyone and the demons get some people. I hope everything works out and I hope he isn't pulling anyones chain.

I dont want a bad name.. alot of you guys have had me pop in your threads wishing u luck over the years, im a good guy. Im honest, 100%, have never screwed anyone over in my life.. i cant say im the greatest catholic ever, (not like im a virgin and go to church every sunday) but i doo try and go as much as I can.. Ever since these guys started calling my phone, and then pushed me around that day ive been every sunday.. i dont know how to prove it.. i cant.. But i just wanted some support atleast, not u assholes coming in here and making a teenagers life even more difficult then it already is....

If I can somehow find a way to figure out if this kid is for real I'd be glad to help. I've seen this happen to friends and family members and I've helped them out before. Gave one guy 1000 because he lost his drugs to the cops and the wrong people were after him. I know people make mistakes in life and I know the money isn't as important to me as it is to you.

Thing that scares me is if TTP isn't willing to send then I feel like I'm not willing to. He's the most generous guy, from what I here, on this forum and is offering up his own money for a goofy tournament right now.

If you want to give me your AIM we can talk about this and I'll consider sending you 500 via Pay-Pal, but I really need to know if you're for real. I guess I'll try and figure it out. It won't be a complete gift though. I'll put trust in you that eventually you pay me back. If you change your E-Mail or AIM or stop talking to me, then so be it and I got fucked. I usually see the good in people and I hope you aren't lying and are a good kid. I don't care how long it takes to pay me back but I won't be considering this a gift. Odds are it will be because you will fuck me over, but it's only 500 bucks.

Don't say you don't have a problem you have learned your lesson. You have a problem kid and you need to fix it. Post your AIM. You also should attend GA even if you think your problem is gone.


One thing I don't like is people are calling this kid sick. Or an asshole. Or a bad person. That's wrong to be honest. Everyone has their addiction or problem in life. Some are more severe than others. Some are alcoholics and lose their families. Others are drug addicts and go to jail. Some are addicted to eating and are obese and die early. Everyone has problems. I don't hate people for their problems and I think he may have learned his lesson. I guess we'll see.

I would and have but like i said his lack of work ethic and even a ounce of the thought of paying back in the future would have been nice.

I think the only way to know if he being sincere is if he et someone call the bookie and confirm what is happening and what the alternatives are.

When I lived in Russia 10 years ago there was ago who played blackjack and poker , he used to make money playing those games so then he moved up thinking he would now make even more money ... FALSE . He lost all his money and borrowed like 15.000 $ ... well he lost them too at stakes he should never really play , just cuz he was beating 2-4 NLHE poker games doesnt mean he can beat 10-20 , 25-50 .
Well ... few weeks later his head was found , true story .
Lesson : never hide from people that you borrowed money from .

by no way is this next statement negative towards you as you are obviously a genuine person, but that is complete bullshit that you would even consider giving someone money. When I was in college and broke and dug myself a nice little hole I didn't whine or beg people for money I nutted up and took out cash advances on 2 seperate credit cards. I see this little weasel is saying he doesn't want to trade one debt for another. Well that's a pussy statement. If he's that worried about what these people are going to do to him then he should take this as a lesson learned and man up and take out a cash advance not beg like a little weasel on a gambling forum to strangers.

Not taking it negatively, it's all good. I agree with you but even with cash advances he is way short. He also has to get approved and he has no credit so we'll see how far that goes.

I'm thinking he'll have to get the Credit Cards anyway. I'm scared he's bullshitting but I guess if he gets in touch with me we'll find out.

Also he has to go to GA. If he's already gotten into 6k of debt before, what's next? How can you say you're officially done this time? You've done it before and now you got in a deeper hole.

To be honest I'd say go to your parents but if his parents aren't financially stable they may kick him out of the house. I wish him the best of luck and as I said, I figure it's not as much money to me as it is to him. I'll consider it another 500 of what I'd donate to charity every year haha. Just hope this charity pays me back.

IMO the worst thing you can do in such a situation is hide like a 6 years old kid . Wat if they show up at your house tomorrow and your mother opens the door ?

i met with them man! and the guy grabbed me by my neck and was like yelling at the top of his lungs man... i got scared. he told me to pay my fucking debt or hes going to break every finger of mine so i cant ever place a bet online again! you know how that feels?????

Said he has applied to a hundred places but no one is giving hours or hiring. Works 12 hours a week at 8 dollars an hour. I'd think if he asked for more hours and made up some bullshit sob story like his family is in dire need of it that they'd give him more hours.
