This game reminded me of basically every game in Peyton's rookie season. You can tell the potential is there but you still get your ass beat and numbers look bad.

Injuries starting to pile up for Indy's D.

Jones out for the year, Davis with the concussion and D'qwell Jackson got hurt at the end of the game.

Once Davis went down the game was a joke for Marshall.

Vlad I know you are high on luck and I agree he is still the #1 pick In the draft if there was an open draft of all NFL players but I think you would have to admit he is and always will be the 2nd best colts qb of the last 25 years

Sure right now. He just turned 26. Peyton definately looked better in his first 4 years though. Colts need to invest in real lineman. Makes such a difference. Not only does it help you move the ball but Luck is 1 hit away from missing the season and he takes alot of hits. If Sam Bradford was here, he wouldn't get past the 2nd preseason game.

If a 26 year old manning was the QB tonight who would Have won?

I agree the team is bad outside Luck for the most part especially with the injuries but I'm seeing a lot of unforced errors caused by AL .

Well if I remember right, 2001 was Peyton's 4th year and it was his 2nd worse year of his career( worst being rookie year in which he still set records). Peyton gets rid of the ball quicker and has more pocket awareness but one reason for that is he can't take the hits that Luck could.

The problem is because the roster is not as talented as others, Luck is forced to do more hence the turnovers. That is why the GM sucks. Some of these GM's are absolutely terrible; its like they drafted Luck so their career coasts on that very simple decision.

I wouldn't overreact just yet.

The Jets have one of the better defenses in the NFL, you had a missed chip shot by AV, fumble at the GL, constant pressure all night, best WR goes into the game hurt, best defensive player gets hurt....Just a perfect storm.

Luckily for Indy their margin for error to make the playoffs is pretty damn high in the AFC-South

Exactly but not a satisfying feeling losing to 2 teams that I know won't win the division. Next 2 weeks are Titans and Jags

I really wish I saw this thread before I loaded up with Colts open teasers. NOTHING is stronger than the curse of calling a game a lock on a forum. :ohno:face)(*^%:hanging:

The guy lost. No need to pile on. It's unfortunate when people lose any kind of money.

What is also funny, JC actually thinks he I a winning gambler. Funny like a clown

Vlad, you're so right on w/this!! The same prob exists w/my Vikes, Spielman is the dumbest MF GM in the NFL. We have all the same weaknesess the Colts do, i.e. no OL (rally bad), no WR, & AD will never be what he was, has lost a step. But it's that OL that's the main prob in both cases!!!

Only reason JC posted this play was because Chop was getting too much attention for the Drew Brees thread.

Well, if anyone here had doubts about JC's mush superpowers... 3 picks against the JETS 2 fumbles... and... a missed FG that the guy scores 98/100
