Always liked the cheap man's parlay!
ie) building your parlay from if-bets so that the odds are calculated like a true odds parlay instead of the off-the-shelf/screw-you odds. Nicely done, and a great recomendation.

5 team parlay: 20:1
5 team if-action-bet: always much better (not 32:1 but much much closer than the standard odds).

Good job guys, nice piece of advice for us betting rookies.

As far as the title of the thread, the two books I have the most internet trouble with is CRIS and CARIB. I eventually gave up at CARIB. Don't know if it was just me or what but seemed to have a problem there on an on-going basis.
