He's obviously very talented and having an incredible year

He's only overrated if you have him in the HOF already or if you think he's the best QB in the league right now

Well said.

Barring injury though he seems positioned for a very successful career. Very poised for a 2nd year player. Doesn't seem to get too up or too down. A lot of fun for us fans to watch as well.

He has a rocket of an arm, and is poised in the pocket. When pocket breaks down, he doesn't look to run, but rather scramble to give him more time to throw. That alone makes him better than half the league's QB's.

Great season, but Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Big Ben do this year in and year out. Time will tell whether he is in that grouping.

Good Luck Sunday Pat

Mahomes, Hill, Kelce and coach Andy Reid are the perfect storm offensively. No defense has held them to fewer than 26 points this year, and not one team has stopped them from scoring within their first two possessions of a game. The Pats defense played the Chiefs about as well as anyone can in the first half of Week 6, limiting them to three field goals. The wheels came off in the second half, though, as Mahomes hooked up with Hill for three touchdowns.

Remember Kaepernick that year? Or Dak and others that have that great first year? Then they taper off as the league gets film on them or learns how to stop them. Not to mention Mahomes has had an insane amount of weapons on offense to help him. So I'm keeping things in perspective but I've seen most of his games in full this season. He is extremely talented.

No one could fail as a QB in KC. Alex Smith had the highest QB rating in 2017. Mahomes is better than Smith but Mahomes is flashy with great surrounding talent in Hill, Kelce and Watkins. After Hunt's suspension, Mahomes' production went way down.

He won't be exposed and he's not as bad as Dak. Dak really sucks and I said that to people way back when he was tearing it up. Mahomes is the beneficary of the unknown factor and the weapons he has all over the field. Not to mention Andy Reid's genius coaching. He isn't as good as he looks right now but he sure doesn't suck and definitely better than Dak and check down Alex Smith.

I think Patriots win Sunday. In fact I bet on it.

You can't be serious with this comment,i'd like to know what good is then,..50 TD's ov-5,000 yards passing,.:):)

Mahomes - most passing yards first 50 starts —

Mahomes threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns in the Chiefs comeback win against the Cleveland Browns at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium Sunday afternoon.
Those 337 yards meant Mahomes broke Kurt Warner’s record for most passing yards through 50 career starts. Warner’s record of 14,372 passing yards in his first 50 games stood for 20 years. Mahomes surpassed Warner racking up 14,489 by the end of Sunday’s game, his 47th career start.

chiefs are no longer a shoe-in

But say this for the Chiefs: At least their jarring 27-3 loss to Tennessee on Sunday at Nissan Stadium provided some clarity for anyone still holding tight to the precious recent past … and letting that sway you into thinking they’re just a few turnovers or tweaks or favorable bounces away from being the team to beat again. Because after a day when they were outgained 277 yards to 67 in the first half, and handed over three more turnovers, and committed nine penalties for 77 yards, the Chiefs have revealed themselves to be a team with much to be humble about.

Mahomes keeps thinking he can run around a lot and not get dinged by these elite speed HGH taking weight lifting mutants on D in the NFL.

Bad mistake.

Only one who has gotten away with it for a long time is Russell Wilson.

List of those that did not? Vick, V Young, RG3, Trubisky, Wentz, well, you know...!

This is the same guy who basically calls people racist for not watching the NBA but says he can understand why blacks do not like the NHL because they don't have much representation
Talk about clueless

The entire media has those type of issues, with very few exceptions
