I think all of this stems from Kaep losing his starting position and being benched. He was pissed off at the coaches and decided to pout like a baby sitting during the Anthem. Nothing had to do with black equality in the beginning. And probably still doesn't.

I mean yeah that's probably the smartest most logical knock of an argument you can have against him. Because who really knows if that had any bearing. It might have. But who knows.

Kaepernick isnt writing a book physically. He is articulating his ideas to someone who is writing it for him obviously. As most do.

He's not a smart guy. He isn't articulating anything to anyone.

What can the book even say! !??I once was a very mediocre player in the NFL and got demoted to the bench because I sucked and then my girlfriend suggested to me that I try to make a statement about the unfair mistreatment of blacks in the US so I took a knee during the National Anthem and it cost me millions of dollars. .....What else!?

He could also say his birth parents didn't want him so a white family adopted him, raised him and loved him as their own. He can also say his girlfriend cost him a job by calling the Baltimore Ravens owner a "racist" and the franchise's greatest player an "Uncle Tom."

Hell, that would fill two chapters I guess.

Let us assume that he was cut partially because of the protest. It is quite clear that this guy, based on his own "words", was not protesting any clear idea or action. He was most likely pressured into doing it by someone close to him that he listens to or a group of people close to him that he listens to. So, if you think he was cut because of the protest, then this guy just gave up his cushy job and salary for absolutely nothing. Kaep cost him his job. It won't be the last time this happens either. Why? Because owners, like players, are egotistical, and greedy. The protests are costing the owners Billions between the current ramifications and the long term ramifications of franchise value growth compared to if the protests had never occurred. They won't forget. And the players who cost them money are going to get less loyalty and less benefit of the doubt than those that came to work to do their job.

And here is the thing ... this fella is clearly not very bright. NFL football was his ticket and he worked really hard most likely to be an elite level football player worthy of an NFL roster. He can't afford to not be working right now when he is a fringe level player. He needed to cash his golden ticket because he doesn't have decent career choices when his NFL career is over. He should want to go punch Kaep in the nose or whoever influenced him into such a bad choice.

Houston owners analogy lol. Comparing the NFL to a prison. Lmfao. And right now we are letting the inmates take over. Wow. Lol that's what goes through the head of an NFL owner. Reminds me of some racists here......except there's no repercussions.

The fact is players don't realize they are replaceable. The tide has changed from angry acceptance, to neutrality and now get the F***out of here! The public ultimately determines how far the protests go, not the media, not the owners. The owners are beholden to money only, and they get money from the public. If the public determines they've had enough the owners follow suit. End of story and end of some players careers.

Yeah I dno about that. They've had replacement players. The fans got pissed at the product.

In 2017, the majority of AMERICANS actually thinks you shouldn't have to stand for the national anthem. So technically those who want to fight athletes over "disrespecting" the flag......are not the majority.
