I am currently on the worst losing streak of my life (playing at higher stakes dont help). I have given back 70% of my profits in 7 days (7 k in 7 days 12 k in 3 weeks). Finally won some back yesterday. It has been ugly.
I am up a little less then 2% since I have been here. Running a little under what I hoped for now.
Streaks come and go. I had a great last 2 days so that is good. I had a really hard time handling this past one, believe me. There are no guarantees with a weekly paycheck so I am not use to it, so it is scary.

Well, for now, we have freaking DSL I think thats what it is. She wont get wireless so I can sue my laptop.
Im getting it when she gets back. we had an experience with it when i was bonus whoring and she couldnt edit her pics, shes a photographer.

BAck when I started bonus whoring I lost 75% of my bank on a fuck up bet. I was bummed BIG time.
But I became focused and hammered away. and turned 7K into just under 500K in 3.5 years. Could have been more, but wasnt agressive enough and when I got aggressive, freaking neteller dissappeared

Believe me I have been talking quite a bit to myself lately. You work so hard and then bam you are back at the beginning. The thing that got me going after I quit feeling sorry for myself is when I said okay this is where I am at and even if I had 10k more in my bankroll I would still have to keep "earning" or I would run out of money eventually. So quit crying and get back to work. Had to lower my bet size and slow down a little bit. Going to take longer to win it back betting less money and games but it will hopefully be a lot longer to lose most of it also.
Though I have did this very seriously for a few years now I still struggle with big losing streaks. They are not easy for me and I dont know why, I think some people are better equipped to handle it than others.
I still have mixed feelings on the town. The traffic isn't that bad overall, but getting to & from the strip is a PAIN IN THE ASS regardless of the time of day. The crime here is supposedly pretty damn bad, but I haven't seen any of it.
This town will make you a fat ass. My God are there some good restaurants here, and they aren't exactly into small portions.
As far as starting a business, there's some non-casino industry out here, but not really that much. It's a gambling town, and that's pretty much it.
