Asked my buddy he paid $25600 for his and it is a soft court top of the line. I think he said the cheapest small one was like 12k no light no fence.

I am shocked at the prices that you guys are quoting.

Matt is just talking about a cement court. I am still sticking with my original guess somewhat.

I will increase it up to $2500, but I am not going any higher than that for a cement basketball court

And you would be wrong....again.

Obviously there are al ot of unknowns here with regards to location, grading requirements, etc. but if you want to hire the entire thing out, you're going to pay anywhere from $3-5 a square foot for even the most basic wire mesh reinforced, 4" thick, broom finished slab. (That price would cover minimal grading, form, pour and finish...no demo or hauling)

at 1,400 S.F. he's looking at 4 dimes at an absolute minimum. And that doesn't include the hoop or striping.

If you wanted to do all of the prep yourself....grading, base, forming, etc. the material alone is gonna run from $85-100 a square yard....at 28' x 50' x 4" that's about 19 yards including a 10% overage. Figure another $1 a foot for a competent finisher and add for a pump, forming lumber, mesh or rebar, hoop, paint etc.

$4,000 at an absolute bare minimum (doing much of the work yourself)

$5,000 minimum hiring it all out assuming the land is relatively 'concrete ready' (mostly flat, clean dirt, and easily accessible)

$6,000+ depending on how much landscape demo/grading/hauling needed beforehand.

Stick to selling Elvis chips, killing Mexicans and abandoning pets dude.

4-6k doesnt sound bad I guess, it would definately be worth it, as I would be much healthier. I love just shooting around during the day, about the only thing I miss from my parents house.

We don't have harsh winters where I live. We did have a pretty bad snow this year though, but it doesn't snow much at all, like fairwarning says its nothing like living in the region and its actually nothing like living in indy. having a fiance in indy showed me the huge difference in my weather and hers, pretty unreal what 65 miles south can do.

had full court bb at the house since i was 6 years old. Our's is dirt and is way better than concrete/asphalt/etc. Many 3 on 3s and 4 v. 4 back in the day. Court and hoops are still there although the old man turned it into a garden now that kids are gone. Spent many hours on that court...think the dirt actually saved my legs/knees.

Was once in the back yard of Former USFL & NFL Running back Gary Anderson's when he lived in Tampa.

I've never seen any backyard court as nice, it was awesome but way out of my price range......

Visorman...how do you get a territory?

I used to work for a competitor and SnapSports flew to see me. They showed me why it was better than my competitor and offered to give me southern new england territory. I took their offer and it was the best decision I made because of their awesome products! I have been in this business for a while. This is my 4th year. I believe there is no territories left in new england area or NY. I think they have LV opening if you want to go that far :)

Matt

If you want to talk to me e mail me. I would be more than happy to help you. You dont want to play on concrete because it would put a lot of stress on your body especially knees and back. Playing on SnapSports tiles support your body and you would feel like your are playing ball in the gym! It is amazing!

Best of Luck making your decision.

Craig

Hey Craig, could you do a Hoosier style floor with IU colors and logo. That would be really sweet.

Hey
Yes I can do that. No problem at all. I did a Umass court up here. Umass logo and their colors. Check out the umass court in my blog. Its sweet! It was Travis Ford's neighbor while he was Umass coach that time.

Matt,

Those courts are not expensive. It ranges from 10k to 30k depending the sizes, options, and the cost of concrete in Indiana. I don't know what is the cost per sq/ft in Indiana. We do courts starting 20 x 25 to full court size.

It is like buying a swimming pool.

Check my blog for my e mail address.

Take care
