costco treats its employees quite well while still delivering good value to consumers as well as those of us that own COST stock

i cant see myself ever not being a member (or not having a position in the stock)

just need the one nearby to start carrying diesel so i can fill up the surf van there and i will be 100% satisfied

i honestly dont know as much about the other places so cant speak to them in comparison but know that anything affiliated with wal-mart is unikely to treat its employees as well as Costco does and I like to support businesses that "do the right thing" from my perspective (within reason)

All I see is one level of membership.
Sams had 2.

Do they have just 1?

If the $55 is all they have they are cheaper then what I was paying SAMs

there is an executive membership that i think is double the cost but provides a larger rebate each year and carries some added benefits

i've booked vacations through costco that were much better than expected as well

place i am staying now in mex is a spot my wife and i originally found thru costco vacations...was so strong we are back again even though we couldnt find it on costco this time around.....they have some of the best "buyers" in the business in terms of deciding what to offer their customers.....just seems to be a very well run organization that provides a strong value proposition

Sams Club memberships are only like $40 in Reno, I guess it's lower cause they have to compete with Costco here. I bet your Sams club will drop their price now.

make sure you check out their coupon book, because besides Specials you could save a few bucks on top of that.

we eat Skinny Pop popcorn, usually comes in 6 pack ($4.99 )* sale price in stores ( $3.99 ), they had a box of 24 bags $11.99, coupon in their book had a $2.50 coupon = $9.49 for 24 bags.

Also, they had Gillette Fusion ProGlide blades ... I think they were $42, $46 and change for a 32 pack ??? $8.00 coupon in the book ... or something like that.

I think the key to these Club stores is don't get stuck buying something you normally Don't use.

Things NOT to buy at Club stores .... Paper Towels, Soda and I forget the rest.
Reason is your Local Supermarket Run Much better sales on these items.
