I know you paid a nice premium. there's a ~5% disconnect from paper vs physical prices. or was when I was buying a few weeks ago and had been since this meltdown

Premium on physical silver is pretty high. Silvertowne is on back order for 2-3 weeks, so is apmex for most items. On ebay a single ounce will run you around $23 shipped. I paid $210 with no taxes for my bar.

a FYI , mickj, just some more info . there was a large print on GLD on Friday. 620,000 shares at $164.80 went off . That's a cool $102,176,000 , lol.

GLD clsoed on Friday at $163.93.

any long positons to be taken for short term, i'd be way more comfortble above that print , at about $165.20ish.

I bought AMD at $16 a couple of years ago...it was a laggard for years....but i'm up 230% now and not selling. Love that stock. I bought Intel a couple of weeks ago and am down a couple %. I would probably look at NVDA before AMD right now.
But I'm up about 26% on GDX since mid March...I would look here or SGOL before getting in semis but miners have more upside imo.

On another note...If you look at individual miners, look where they are mining. Stay out if most production is in an EM.

I bought a total of 1500 shares of SRNE between 4.65 and 5.17 on Friday. Hit 10.54 in pre market hours. Wondering if I should reduce my position on it.
