GL Tapa, I also am going with Chivas, if they want a chance to qualify, they HAVE to win, and against a weaker opponent on paper, looks like a good bet.

I am also going with Libertad small today, they are fielding a sub team that played really good vrs Quito last week, and are against an Arsenal team with 7 or 8 subs too in their lineup. I am going small on that one as both teams dont have to play for anything, so in that case, I go with the home team that at least has to give some effort in front of their fans...

Nice win by Chivas, sorry about Libertad but that was more a friendly match than a cup match, thats what i stayed away from that one!!!

Todays plays:

Fluminense - LDU

Both teams already classified with the same points but i think this game will be more serious to fluminense than Quito. They want to win this game to get to 13 points and be one of the best teams this round. That will give them the chance to face one of the "worsts" teams the next round. LDU sent a team of reserves and young players like they did against Libertad where they lost 3-1.

Im gonna take the home team here who are going to play with their main team.

Fluminense -1.5 -110 3 units


U Catolica - America

America with 9 points (same as River) and Catolica with 6 points. If the U wants to advance they have to win here and win it big. I just dont trust in America right now the way they are playing this year so im gonna stay with the home team, hopefully giving us a win here.

U Catolica -140 1 unit

River- San Martin

River only have to get 1 point in order to advance and San Martin the only way for them is the win. Im gonna take the spread here, the gallinas can win this one without getting relax but i think that the need of San Martin with create a lot of spaces for the strikers of River.

Love the Flu pick, they have won by more than 1 goal in all their matches at home in Libertadores play, and they square against a Quito team again playing with a reserve team. With you on that one.

Flu is, for me, the best brazilian team by far in this cup, i really like them and playing today against a reserve team i expect a 3-0 win at least.

In the america match, probably will not be a bad bet going with america, especially +0.5 but i just dont trust them right now. They are last on their league and actually they can advance losing today 1-0, so i will take the need of the home team and in front of their fans.

estudiantes without alayes and another defender, thats why i like the over, besides LDU is an offensive team, tough at home, Estudiantes will be playing with three strikers, Piatti, Salgueiro and Lazarro.

If i have to take a side, probably will be LDU at home, but i just cant go against Estudiantes, great team besides is argentina against Ecuador, so ill be routing for Estudiantes and a lot of goals!!!!

Atlas has been playing very well at home, winning all their games with a difference of at least 2 goals (including my Boca). I feel that they will not keep anything today at home although they are almost on the next round (they won 1-0 at Argentina). Lanus is not doing a good season and I think their journey to this cup ends today.

Estudiantes needs a 2-0 win to force the pks and a 3-0 win to advance, so i think they will go with all their hearts today, this is their main goal this season, this cup.

La Brujita Veron stayed with his team to play this cup instead of going to the MLS.
