i guess thats why manning has so many one and dones.. Opportunity.

I'm not putting Manning ahead of Brady overall... like I have pointed out, you have to factor in a lot of things..I like Peyton over Brady in some aspects but Brady over Peyton in others....

Can U imagine what my "home boy" #11, Larry F would have done if paired w/TB?? Rice would be a distant 2nd in everything!!!! .

I just got through saying that a half an hour ago at a breakfast diner... Brady and Fitz would be like Montana and Rice on Steroids. Fitz is all around better than Randy Moss too, by the way.

The fuckn team got them there. Not just Brady..This isn't golf or tennis..it's a team sport..53 man roster..10 coaches...

You can say that about any QB anytime....Tom Brady is the epitome of leading and winning period.
Its about winning. Like Belichick says...Stat are for losers. ...You can take Manning in his bubble boy environment air conditioned stats all you want...I'll take the all weather Brady anytime...its not even close.

I agree with some of this....If you read my recent posts, I don't have Manning ov Brady...but its still a team sport with a lot of variables

The hell it's not...All you can ever say is Super Bowl this or that. Peyton redefined the game. So much goes into a Super Bowl.

Peyton redefined the game.

You can say that again ..him and Bill Pollion whining about his receivers getting defended, subsequently getting the rules changed to make the NFL into the arena league. So if you were within 5 yards of Marvin Harrison you'd get a 40 yard penalty...Jesus thanks for the redefintion of playing defense.

This.

and its a shame that the league and the networks that cover it never mention the reason for all the defensive penalties you see now.

You mean Ty Law grabbing Marvin for 5 seconds?

But that was just "tough defense" right?

Some of you Pats fans. Geeze. Patriots defenders mugged the Colts receivers and I know that you know that.

I don't think the league was favoring the Pats....so if Law got away with so be it

The fact that anyone will say with a straight face that Brady IS NOT clearly the best of all time proves that some people will argue just for the sake of arguing

What will they say if he wins again this year?

I don't even dislike Brady but how can you clearly say he was the best of all time? Great, yes but best ever?

Tom Brady is Tim Duncan - everything was built around him - he's the best ever - Manning would have to win this year to be realistically considered better than Brady - even then it's a coin flip - it's amazing what Manning has done the last 4 years - 2nd string college qbs all have a stronger arm than him post surgery but he's still had amazing run with his precision and the fact he's just 10x smarter than anyone else

Still not greater than Joe Montana. It's close, but Joe was just better all around, and played before the pussification era of the sport. Brady's still number 2.

For me Joe and Tom are the best....I give it a tie.

But I hope and pray that Brady beats the living shit out of this Manning clown.

Brady beats Montana in all major categories and has way more playoff success. He's gonna play another 3 years easy. He's the best and it is not close.

That was on Alex Smith. A real QB is calling his own stuff in hurry up. Alex dependent on the sideline. He limits a team so damn much.
Couldn't disagree more. He was fourth in the league in rushing as a QB and I'd say had more 3rd down scrambles for first downs than anyone (could be wrong there, didn't check the stats) He has one receiver and a TE that is overrated. Alex Smith is a legit QB and knows how to win.

Andy Reid's clock management has, and seems like always will be, terrible.

You don't go to NE in the playoffs and win very often. Aaron Rodgers could have QB'd that team, and they still would likely have lost.
