I don't think the color of a man's skin is important, I guess you have to exist on another level to understand me, that's where superior genetics kicks in.

As for my 2 1/2 year old grandson, he's amazing, can already tell he has superior genetics. I will concede that family and parenting and one's lifestyle helps to mold those genes properly. Some really smart kids never have a chance, because of their parents, or lack thereof, and the value system their families instill in them.

If you believe race is important, then there will always be racism. That's not rocket science either, more like common sense 101

how utterly embarrassing that someone ready to make $174,000 is making pleas to folks about something she has known about since beating out Crowley last Spring. Every congressman needs to have a DC residence and a home state residence ... this is not some one-off that she wouldn't have known about

to go to the press and whine like this when you've never held a real job yet suddenly will clear 6-figures? some start for the congresswoman-elect

It seems like something she might be able to use campaign funds for, a necessary political expense incurred before her salary kicks in. I'm pretty sure they can use campaign funds to pay for temporary housing and shelter during the campaign.

I'm not certain about this, I can't pretend to know campaign finance laws, but it certainly seems plausible
