I thought I was crazy when I spent $2000 for my Lenovo T440s, which I had built to what i wanted in the machine, and includes a Wireless card built right in and can have service just about anywhere I go.

Guess you went above to what you needed. Not saying it's a bad buy, but you could have gotten more for your buck(s) on a Lenovo

i paid $400 for a toshiba laptop 3 years ago still going strong. i went cheap because i only use it for simple things like excel and the internet. if a page loads in 1 second or 1.25 does it really matter? if it breaks i'll just buy a new one.
