Come on Braves and Cubs

^ I wonder if they let Ozuna go and find another guy to sign for a 1 year contract?

After Donaldson and Ozuna, other players may want to "gamble" and sign with the braves to revive career or to see if the next year would be a better market for them?

I was thrilled with Donaldson last year .
Never would have thought in a million years we would find another 1 year wonder type contract like that ever again .

But as good as Donaldson was Ozuna been even better .

And I was glad the Braves did not sign Donaldson to a long term contract.

I did not want the Braves to stunt Riley and his growth .
Of course Riley is not Donaldson yet and he may never be that good but he’s cheap and has a lot of upside .

Ozuna on the other hand is almost a must resign. Especially if the NL goes full time DH which I’m 90% sure they will

Years ago, i thought Ozuna was washed up. Didnt reach up to potential on the marlins (what that STUD outfield) and was happy they traded him.

Now when i see young talent on the braves, i like to see how they were acquired as they gutted that team a few years back

Nah they paid big bucks for Donaldson but it was only 1 year
28 million

For some reason i thought it was 4 or 10 mil.

Still worth it.

Maybe 1 year contracts are the way to go?
