it is a myth that rain helps the under. wet balls/fields cause turnovers and miscues. just as i type this, a bad snap because of the wet ball. reminds me of a monday night game between pitt and baltimore last year when it was pouring rain and everyone pounded the under and the score was 35-7 at the half.

Here comes the rain under gets in better shape.

yep. don't know why people always say rain causes unders. it causes turnovers and is actually harder on the defense on pass plays because the offensive guy knows where he's going the defender does not. everyone pounds unders when it rains but often it helps the over.

Rain itself is not an issue - its when the field gets in bad shape that rain becomes a huge factor. Doubt it will be a problem at Mile Hi where they have a great drainage system.

That was a huge break for CU. Hopefully momentum swings their way for the rest of this one.

Not saying the under is golden, but just as fumbles happen, ty 14-0 CU lead, also affects footing. Teams jump out to big leads tend to run more in slick conditions and passing games tend to run shorter routes, negating the big bomb pass plays.

Good luck

yeah, and rain also causes teams to run the ball more, therefore more clock running.

assuming that teams are going to fumble alot isn't a safe bet. assuming teams are going to run the ball and the clock moving are.
