14-Jun LSU -194 TCU +171 TCU 10-3

Sorry for this mess.
Anyway CWS Favorites are 5-3 +.28 units. (A $100 player betting all Favs would have won $500 (5.0 units) and lost $472 (4.72 units)).

Very hard to bet college baseball guys. Much easier for any team to beat any team than it is in other sports. That's my opinion anyways. Don't beat yourself up over it just see if Hanna has a college pick for you too. :) kidding kidding please don't attack me lol

Did someone say CWS???!!! Yeah MOSI, it's tough sledding in this event, much harder than March Madness IMO. As previously stated, regionals and supers are easier, or at least I've found then such over the years. That all being said, LOL, I like the Gators tonight, if it ain't broke, Alice, put the damn hammer, saw and wrench away. Beat 'em bad once, no sense in not torching them again. This bad boy is shaping up to be an all SEC final, just hope it's Vandy and not LSU playing Florida.

Gonna split the pot, half on -1+ at -130 and the other half -2+ at +115. Then we pray, LOL. Gators are pissed off and Miami just happens to be in the way. I'm seeing a pretty decisive win here, other half of the bracket is gonna be close IMO.

Well, when you record is losing one it is generally easy to ascertain that it is more difficult than most sports. I should have waited another week for surgery, than I could have just bet US Open match-ups; could not have done much worse.

Updated and correct record:
2015 CWS (1-4) -2.95 units

I am going to go break down a Women's FIFA match; six minutes seems like enough time for that. For those in fade mode, I will be back later if I have a CWS breakthrough for this evening.

At least the thread has been fun...Right TM? Hello...

I'm here MOSI, damn RX Gestapo still has me in shackles, and frankly, starting to piss me off. One damn post that got into Betall's boxers and I'm in jail for 11 days now and counting. Hell, I sent a personal apology and offered to apologize to Sherwood, except he's gone awol. WTF? Anyway, that Chambers Bay is a bad mofo, should be right up Rory's alley ya ask me. They've really built some nice tracks in the Pacific NW the last 10 years. Would like to play this one sometime, maybe we can get a foursome together, BossMan is in the Bay area, not sure it he plays or not, but I'd make the trek just to play that course, did it to New York to play Beth Page so my game knows no boundaries. NOW, Mods, please take the damn handcuffs off.

I have heard great things about the track Chambers Bay has to offer. Hopefully the US officials will not go over board with the level of difficulty. Let the finest players in the world have a chance to show their talents. I will not be playing anytime soon. The surgery I am recovering from is my second lower back go around. Not fun.

Tonight, Florida should win. However, I think it will be much more competitive than the first game. I think you will see a lot of runs and a lot of pitchers. Not sure if it will be an official play or not just yet.

Anyway, good luck to all.

Hahaha mosi stay positive man! You'll right the ship

Thank you Sir. All is well. Had a nice day in the MLB yesterday with the Mets and Marlins, and got the stoke of fortune I expected with a high scoring 4th quarter in the Cavs/Warriors game.

So is the grace in your name a tribute to #17? One of my favorite ball players of all time. Again, thanks. Take care.

Well, I said Florida should win with a lot of runs. And then I sat on the sidelines and watched exactly that happen. Good for all of my obnoxious Gator neighbors/friends.

With that said updated records for the CWS:
2015 CWS (1-4) -2.95 units

Series Favorites 6-3, +1.28 units (couple of sizeble dogs hit, see post above)

OVER/UNDER 3-5-1 (Playing all OVERs would result in -2.34 units & Playing all UNDERs would result in +1.81 units)

[h=2]2015 College World Series: Nathan Kirby to pitch for UVA Friday against Florida[/h]By Brian Schwartz @BSchwartzUVA on Jun 18, 2015, 1:49p

Nathan Kirby will start for the Virginia Cavaliers in Friday's 3PM game against the Florida Gators:
Kirby, who was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers with the 40th overall pick in last week's MLB draft, hasn't pitched since April 17th, when he went out with a strained lat, then contracted mono. He was 5-2 with a 2.28 ERA in 10 starts before his injury.
He'll face off against Florida's Logan Shore (10-6, 2.55 ERA). A Virginia win would send the team to the College World Series championship round, while a loss would force a do-or-die final game against the Gators on Saturday.
Brian O'Connor's decision was an interesting strategic one, as Connor Jones would have also been available. The upside is that a UVA win allows the team to hold Jones for game 1 of the championship (with Brandon Waddell available in game 2). If there's a game Saturday, Jones would likely be the starter.
Kirby's stamina won't be 100% after his layoff, and he is unlikely to throw 90 pitches (or 6ish innings).
The decision is bold, but I'd argue it's a good one. UVA has two chances to win one game. If a second game is required, both pitchers would be used anyways. But if UVA does win game one, the team would rather save Jones than save Kirby. (And, because of Kirby's pitch limits, he has a better chance of being available again in the next round as well).
The Hoos are an underdog this season, and are playing with house money. If the goal were to make the championship round, Jones would be the obvious starting choice. But to put the team in a better position to win it, O'Connor is making a bit of a gamble.
