I'm a little bit of a conspiracy theorist, so I believe San Jose may've given Boise that close win 2 yrs ago to preserve a WAC team going to a BCS Bowl. It was late in the season, and San Jose was leading for most of the gm. Then Boise wins it on a last min FG, and they're on the way to Fiesta Bowl.

Anyway, my pt is San Jose plays Boise tuff, esp @ home. I think this is due to San Jose's crappy field too. Boise's speed is neutralized, and SJ's straight-up-the-gut style both on "D" & "O" holds weight. Great pick, I'm on them as well, and like you am waiting for the line to go up.

Penn is looking terrific. They were totally looking past Mich to this gm, and they still covered in the 4th! It's sure nice to be able to turn it on when you feel like it! Incredible focus and desire.

I agree with your LSU pick. Georgia is highly overrated, and LSU is back home after being on the road for the past 2 games. The defensive line is much more effective when not playing against spread offenses. They have the ability to rush the qb, and LSU implemented a defense involving 4 DE's on the field at one time which helped get them 5 or 6 sacks against South Carolina. Georgia's O line will not have much of a chance, and Moreno will not have much daylight. If Georgia does win, it will be with Stafford's arm which is very possible. However, I see LSU's defensive line being the difference in this one. I like the pick! Good luck on your other plays.
If LSU is going to have any chance to win this game they will have to run it successfully which wont be easy versus the #3 rush defense in the country. LSU had alot of trouble with UF's dl, and Georgia's line is more talented then Flordias. If Charles Scott/Keiland Williams cant run it successfully then play action goes out the window. I am not sure LSU can stop Moreno and Stafford (throwing to AJ Green) either. Say what you will but Georgia is still leading the SEC in offense and LSU will have a hell of a time trying to stop the dual threat since the corners of LSU will give up some deep passes.

As long as Georgia follows Flordia's blueprint in their game versus LSU they win this one. Also if you look at the road record of Richt, it is is inconsequential that this game is being played @LSU (especially since its a day game)--hell Georgia plays better on the road then at home.

20* Big Ten GOY

20* Penn St -2 -105
I think the books are wrong on this one because I dont think OSU has a shot at winning........I see this one as a DD win for the Nittany Lions!!!!!

The key here is that OSU can create themselves a whole new season by winning this game and getting back into the BCS mix! They are good at getting to the title game we all know. Homefield will be HUGE and Penn St. can be had. This is a perfect situation for the better coach to get the win with a team that knows how to win! Penn St. is not typically in an undefeated situation, so the pressure is on them, and that will not help. I see several turnovers from PSU on Saturday.
Ohio State 27 - 17
Also, this is the biggest game in the state of Ohio for the year! Fans will be pumped up and help! Very young QB for PSU will have trouble in the hostile environment.

Enjoy the game Lewis d1g1t

What are your thoughts on Oklahoma -18.5 at Kansas State ? This looks like Okies should cover and get a blowout to continue to come back into to mix.

Thanks for your input :howdy:

Lewis - A good friend of mine played for state and graduated last year. I've been on them 4 games this year and have been 3-1 with them. I will ask him if there is any injuries that we should be aware of and I'll keep you updated. The thing about state from what he tells me is that there D is off the charts this year compared over the last several years or so. But what i am afraid of and what he even admits to me is there offense line is horrible and lost a lot of play makers from last year at WR. I'm going to wait and see were the line moves later this week and make a play on state hoping it goes up from -7.5

The one thing i do like is that the game is at state and should bring in a lot fans. I will be at this game for sure. They actually serve beer at spartan stadium to which a lot of colleges don't offer. I will talk to my friend this week and see what else he has to offer.

Thanks for your weekly picks and i always look to see what you play. GL

thanks for your opinion..........whichever team wins this game could go to the championship game and the other won't have a chance.........this is the biggest game of the year for both teams............OSU could win and cover but I dont think they are as good as they looked beating a one dimensional MSU team last week........it should be a good game but I think that PSU pulls away in the 2H........

They will win and they should blow KSU out but I won't give up 18.5 to the home team in conference.........I just refuse to do it because you are going to lose more games than you win..........I guess I would lean to OU in this one because KSU shouldnt be able to stop them but I wouldnt put my money on it......

San Jose Moneyline??? Or throwing money away?

they have a shot to win if that is what you are asking but the smart bet IMO is with the points since Boise could win on a last second fg or in OT.......I wouldnt play them if I didnt think they could win this game SU though.......

Lewis, are you playing tonight?

I have been looking at the game and really think that it is a bad one to play so I am leaning towards a no play but I am going to look one more time to see if I can find a winning angle in this one..............back before it starts........

I am going to play the OU/Tem 1H Over 20.5 +100 but I am going to wait to get this at a better line or +110 or more.........This is a total "gut feeling" play and nothing else........I wouldnt play the total for the game so if you dont get 1H's then I would just sit this one out........I just wanted to let everyone know.......back right before kick with the play......

Lewis

Thanks for the early write-up.

I too think WV line came in too low. See a big QB edge. Unless WV puts ball on the ground I can't see Auburn driving the length of the field with their sub standard pass attack.

I happen to like Cincinnati in the UConn game. Battle of good coaches but Cincy has an up and comming head guy and a rested team. KY, Duke and Kansas are leans for me. I would likely play Georgia at +3, as I believe oddsmakers made a "statement" not offering +3 thus far. There's something about the LSU offense I don't like, but right now I give them credit for pulling out wins. Georgia travels well. Purdue and Baylor are considerations for me as well.
