Indiana is a basketball school....put that in your algorithm...gl

Thanks 8ate. That reminds me in the movie "Dances With Wolves" where Costner's character says he's writing a book about his adventures. Some old codger lets out a fart and says "put that in your book!"

We have a few more this week that I've been noticing a disparity in the stats. I'll start out with one of the early ones and add later.

Texas A&M has an excellent passing game while Miss. St. gives up an average of 319 passing ypg. The Aggies should have no trouble passing on this defense.

I noticed that the Aggies were originally favored in this game. However, the line has crossed over to have Miss. St. being favored.

Going with:

Texas A&M +3 over Miss. St. 5dimes (1 unit)

I was reluctant to post this because the schools are relatively unknown but I'm going to go with it anyway. Middle Tenn. has a good rushing offense averaging over 200 rushing ypg. Southern Miss. gives up almost 250 rushing ypg. Middle Tenn. should be able to run all over So. Miss.

Going with:

Middle Tenn. -17 -108 over So. Miss. 5dimes (1 unit)

Originally I was going to go with Colorado State over Tulsa. CSU has been passing for over 300 ypg and Tulsa has been giving up almost 300 ypg. But I also see that Tulsa has a good passing game with almost 300 ypg. I'm seeing an air show here and at 63 points the total is just too low.

Going with:

Tulsa/Colorado State over 63 Heritage (2 units)

Early games go 0-fer again. I didn't want to post any games after this. True to form I would have picked Wisconsin and they lost outright.

However, in late game action I was going to pick ASU, Wash. St., Kentucky but won't take credit.

I don't know why the early games to the other way. I think I'll just pick the late games next week.

So I skipped the early games. Let's go strictly for the late games.

Going with:

LSU +1 -110 over Florida 5dimes (2 units)
LSU has a good passing yards per attempt at 9.5 ypp while Florida gives up an average of 267 passing ypg.

Cal -3 -108 over Wash Heritage (2 units)
Wash/Cal over 67 -105 5dimes (1 unit)
Cal has a great passing game averaging almost 400 passing ypg. Washington gives up an average of 269 passing ypg. Cal gives up an average of over 400 ypg.

Going with:

Alabama/Arkansas over 53 1/2 -108 5dimes (1 unit)

Both teams have good passing games while Arkansas has a weak pass defense.

I'm not taking Alabama on the spread here because Arkansas could make up ground with their passing attack.
