Why is it that CNN and other fake news outlets only make mistakes when it concerns Trump or Republicans ?

Good question.

An even better one: how many times did they print negative stories about the Stuttering Clusterfuck and then issue retractions afterwards? I can’t think of even one off the top of my head. It must be just a funny coincidence that every single story they retreat about Trump puts him in a negative light.

Dont quote me on this, but I remember seeing one ratings report putting CNN below Nickelodeon. Nobody on the fence believes anything that hilarious sham of a news outlet pretends to report.

18 Questions CNN Needs To Answer After Getting Busted For Fake News

[h=2]18 Questions CNN Needs To Answer After Getting Busted For Fake News[/h]
DECEMBER 8, 2017 By Mollie Hemingway
Early on Friday, CNN promoted its latest breathless report purporting to show collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. CNN has been extremely invested in the narrative of collusion for the last year.
In June, CNN was forced to pull one of its Russia-Trump conspiracy stories that “did not meet CNN’s editorial standards.” The discredited story was based on a single anonymous source who connected Anthony Scaramucci, a prominent ally of President Trump, to a Russian investment fund managed by a Kremlin-controlled bank. Three journalists who worked on the story were fired.

But many of the other stories CNN pushed had serious problems, including one that claimed fired FBI head Jim Comey would testify he never told President Trump three times that he was not under FBI investigation. That’s precisely what he testified the next morning after the story ran. Still other stories are headlined explosively and presented on-air breathlessly while being quite anodyne. Earlier this week, was a piece headlined, “Exclusive: Previously undisclosed emails show follow-up after Trump Tower meeting.” The piece quietly revealed that Trump Jr. didn’t receive the follow-up and the “follow-up” was in no way incriminating or suggesting treasonous collusion to steal an election. Such stories have been par for the course for the Russia-Trump collusion narrative.
Friday morning’s report — which got the usual suspects extremely excited — was one such story. Broadcast widely on air and online, it intimated that Donald Trump, Jr. was given an advance notice about documents hacked or phished from Democrats before they were publicly available. The story didn’t include any evidence that the random dude who emailed Trump, Jr. was correct, that his email had been opened, that he was connected to Russia, or anything else to justify the excitement that those all-in on the collusion narrative had in response to it.
But more than that, it turned out that CNN completely botched the story. Instead of advance notice that this random dude sent in to Trump affiliates, it was late notice that this random dude sent in. The Washington Post obtained the email and reported that CNN had completely messed up the story, claiming a September 4 date to an email that was actually sent on September 14, a day after the documents were publicly available.
Despite the story being completely meaningless as revised, CNN merely posted a correction instead of a retraction. And CNN’s PR team tweeted out:
Screen-Shot-2017-12-08-at-4.47.47-PM.png

CNN has not released any other information. Here are some questions for CNN to answer to restore trust between the reporters on the story, editors on the story, the news organization itself, and viewers and readers.
1. Did CNN ever see the email before running the story on it?
2. Does CNN believe it’s ethical to write about a document and not let readers and viewers know up front that reporters and editors haven’t seen the document?
3. If CNN didn’t see the email, who told CNN about it?
4. Why did CNN believe these sources?
5. Were they Democratic Members of Congress on the House Select Committee on Intelligence leaking information from this week’s testimony?
6. Were they staff of these members?
7. Are these sources independent or in the same office or otherwise related to each other?
8. What other stories have these individuals sourced for CNN and what dates were they published?
9. What is being done to check these stories out for inaccuracies?
10. How many of these stories related to the Russia investigation?
11. How many other stories has CNN reported where it never actually saw the documents it reported as fact?
12. Can CNN point to another big story anchored to documents that its journalists haven’t authenticated?
13. Will the reporters on this story continue to cover this beat? If so, why?
14. Which editors worked on and approved this story?
15. How will editorial processes on Russia conspiracy stories change going forward to avoid similar errors?
16. Given that the story is meaningless, as corrected, why hasn’t the story been retracted in its entirety?
17. Will CNN use these sources in the future? If so, why? If not, how can readers be sure they are not used as future sources?
18. Given the seriousness of their error and the damage they caused to the reputation of the news outlet, will CNN out the sources? If not, why not?

Another false story, this time in the Failing @nytimes, that I watch 4-8 hours of television a day - Wrong! Also, I seldom, if ever, watch CNN or MSNBC, both of which I consider Fake News. I never watch Don Lemon, who I once called the “dumbest man on television!” Bad Reporting.

Very little discussion of all the purposely false and defamatory stories put out this week by the Fake News Media. They are out of control - correct reporting means nothing to them. Major lies written, then forced to be withdrawn after they are exposed...a stain on America!

[h=1]Trump Blasts ‘Fake News’ for Working with Democrats to Demean Tax Cut Bill[/h]

[h=2]President Donald Trump did not appear pleased by media coverage of the passage of the monumental Republican tax cut bill.[/h]“The Tax Cuts are so large and so meaningful, and yet the Fake News is working overtime to follow the lead of their friends, the defeated Dems, and only demean,” he wrote on Twitter.
The tax cut bill passed the Senate early Wednesday morning with a vote of 51-48. The president told Americans that the massive tax cut bill would produce jobs and fuel an economic rebound in the country.
“This is truly a case where the results will speak for themselves, starting very soon,” he wrote. “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs!”

The bill also included a provision that would repeal Obamacare’s individual mandate for health insurance. The House is expected to pass the final vote on Wednesday.
Trump will host House and Senate Republican leaders on Wednesday afternoon to celebrate their achievement:

Semi-serious question. Has CNN *ever* printed a positive article about Trump? Ever? I've never seen one.

They really need to stop claiming they are a legitimate news source.

They are a worse propaganda machine than the Soviet Pravda.

"For decades Pravda/CNN contained some fantastic journalistic work, but all of it became shrouded in so much propaganda and distortions: Pravda/CNN become a true farce – its content had no real connection to the truth."

[h=1]Nolte — Hate Fatigue: CNN Viewership Collapses 30%[/h]

[h=2]Massive layoffs, a cancerous fake news crisis, and the humiliating (and expensive) implosion of its digital platform, appear to be the least of CNN’s problems. Because on top of all that, when compared to last year, the far-left cable channel has lost -30 percent of its primetime viewers and -23 percent of its total day viewers.[/h]The viewership problems for the anti-Trump outlet are breathtaking, especially when compared to its competition. Throughout the week of February 5, CNN could only scrape together an average 674,000 total day viewers. During the all-important primetime hours, CNN averaged only 888,000 viewers.
Those numbers not only put CNN in last place behind MSNBC and Fox News, it puts the 24/7 Trump-hating channel in last place by a country mile.
In total day, the openly left-wing MSNBC averaged 972,000 viewers (compared to CNN’s paltry 674,000). Fox News, however, nearly beat both CNN and MSNBC combined with 1.529 million average viewers.
advertisement

During primetime, MSNBC smoked CNN by nearly a million viewers — 1.747 million (compared to CNN’s 888,000). Fox beat both MSNBC and CNN combined with a whopping 2.605 million.
While the pro-North Korea CNN lost nearly a third of its primetime viewers, MSNBC actually gained in total day (+26 percent) and primetime (+22 percent).
While retaining its King of the Hill status by a wide margin, Fox’s audience dip was only about half that of CNN’s.
No one can argue that the news cycle is not every bit as intense in February of 2018 as it was in February of 2017. No one can argue that the population has declined.
So why is CNN imploding while its competition continues to thrive?
It probably comes down to a combination of fake news and hate fatigue.
To begin with, MSNBC does not lie to its viewers. It advertises itself as an openly left-wing network, while CNN — which is even further to the left than MSNBC — continues its ridiculous pose as objective and unbiased.
Worse still, CNN cannot seem to stop lying to its viewers. CNN chief Jeff Zucker has created a veritable Fake News Factory over there, a wildly hypocritical one that has undermined all of its reporting and moral authority. If you are going to pose as a news outlet, your reporting must have credibility. Nobody believes anything CNN reports, nor should they.
Lastly, CNN’s 24/7 contribution to the Climate of Hate in this country is not only dangerous, it is simply exhausting. No matter what time of day you turn the failing channel on, it is TRUMP IS HITLER and REPULICANS ARE RACIST and WORSE THAN WATERGATE and I’M OUTRAGED and I’M STILL OUTRAGED and CHRISTIANITY IS BIGOTRY AND HATE and GIMME YOUR GUNS and MOCK US AND WE WILL DESTROY YOU and GIVE UP YOUR FREEDOM TO CENTRAL GOVERNMENT and TRUMP IS CRAZY and and LET’S WHIP UP SOME VIOLENCE and, finally, LET ME LECTURE YOU ON DECENCY EVEN THOUGH I MYSELF AM A SERIAL LIAR.
Even if you agree with CNN’s monstrous worldview and appalling politics, the hate machine’s shrill and sanctimonious presentation is so hysterical, so neurotic, so smug and one-note, it is just not attractive to watch.

It's all about the narrative: FAKE NEWS CNN caught hosting FAKE TOWN HALL:

========================================================

Shooting Survivor Quit CNN Town Hall After Refusing to Ask ‘Scripted’ Question

Colton Haab, a student who survived last week’s mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, refused to participate in a CNN Town Hall on Wednesday night after he was told to ask a “scripted” question.

Haab, a junior at the high school, told Fort Lauderdale ABC affiliate WPLG that CNN invited him to speak at the televised town hall in nearby Sunrise, Florida, and that he and his parents had dressed up for the occasion.

But CNN then told Haab he would have to read a question that CNN had prepared for him:

Haab: I expected to be able to ask my questions and give my opinion on my questions.

Reporter Janine Stanwood:
But Colton Haab, a member of the Junior ROTC, who shielded classmates in the midst of terror, says he did not get to share his experience.

Haab:
CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions, and it ended up being all scripted.

Stanwood:
Colton wrote questions about school safety, suggested using veterans as armed school security guards, but claims CNN wanted him to ask a scripted question instead. So he decided not to go.

Haab:
I don’t think that it’s going to get anything accomplished. It’s not going to ask the true questions that all the parents and teachers and students have.

The town hall was overwhelmingly stacked in favor of gun control. Two students whom CNN chose to ask questions attacked National Rifle Association spokesperson Dana Loesch as a bad mother. CNN’s Jake Tapper, who moderated the event, did not defend Loesch.

[h=1]CNN’s May Ratings Already Collapsing by 20-Plus Percent[/h]

[h=2]While Fox News and MSNBC are more or less holding steady this week when compared to the full month of May last year, the far-left CNN is already in a total ratings freefall by 20 percent and more.[/h]With three weeks of May still remaining, the Stormy Daniels Network might be able to mount (if you’ll pardon the expression) a comeback, but as of right now the month is looking like it could be a serious humiliation for CNN—and not just in total viewers but the advertiser-coveted 25-54 age demo, as well.
Primetime Hours
During primetime hours throughout May of last year, CNN averaged 1.12 million total viewers and 399,000 demo viewers.
During the first week of May this year, CNN averaged just 859,000 total viewers and 286,000 demo viewers, which represents a jaw-dropping collapse of 23 percent and 29 percent, respectively.
By comparison, year-over-year in primetime, Fox News is up 5 percent in total viewers (2.24 million compared to 2.359 million) and experience only a 1 percent drop in the demo (453K compared to 448K).
MSNBC enjoyed a 4 percent increase in total viewers (1.69 million compared to 1.755 million) and a 16 percent drop in the demo (417K compared to 352K).
So, during primetime last week, CNN was only able to attract to attract an average of 859,000 total viewers compared to 1.755 million for MSNBC and 2.359 million for Fox.
advertisement

In other words, MSNBC is nearly doubling CNN’s total primetime viewers while Fox News is nearly tripling CNN.
Total Day Viewers
Throughout May of last year, CNN averaged 821,000 total day viewers and 274,000 total day viewers in the 25-54 demo.
During the first week of May this year, CNN’s total day viewers have collapsed to an average of just 649,000. Demo viewers during the total day fell to just 205,000. That is a freefall of 21 percent and 25 percent, respectively.
By comparison, year-over-year in total day, Fox News held steady with a drop of only about 1 percent (1.42 million compared to 1.358 million) in total viewers and a 10 percent drop in demo viewers (302K compared to 272k).
MSNBC’s total day viewers jumped 4 percent (925K to 960K) with only a 4 percent drop in the demo (221K compared to 205K).
Any objective examination of these numbers can only deliver one conclusion: CNN is hemorrhaging a massive chunk of its already small audience. Moreover, the problem is not a lack of news. If that were the issue, Fox and MSNBC would also be shredding total viewers as opposed to holding steady and even gaining in some areas.
Obviously, CNN’s massive credibility problems are coming home to roost. “CNN” has become synonymous with “fake news” over the last year, and for very good reason. No one can trust anything reported by CNN, and why should they?
Last month I sat in a waiting room with close to a dozen strangers from every imaginable walk of life. When someone suggested putting some news on waiting room TV, one lady said, “As long as it’s not CNN,” and the whole room burst out laughing.
CNN is widely seen as a joke in America, something that will take years for the anti-Trump channel to shake if it ever decides to stop with the wildly partisan and dishonest hysterics.
What’s more, the network has pretty much turned itself over to porn star Stormy Daniels and her fake news-spreading attorney. A porn star and her ambulance chaser have become CNN’s assignment editors to the point of absurdity.

May of 2017:
Primetime (total viewers — demo viewers)
Fox: 2.24 million — 453K
MSNBC: 1.69 million — 417K
CNN: 1.12 million — 399K
Total Day
Fox: 1.42 million — 302K
MSNBC: 925K — 221K
CNN: 821K — 274K

First week of May 2018
Primetime
Fox: 2.359 million — 448K
MSNBC: 1.755 million — 352K
CNN: 859K – 286K
Total Day
Fox: 1.358 million — 272K
MSNBC: 960K — 203K
CNN: 649K — 205K
