unless you made about 50 grand today , you are probably way behind.

i'm gonna end up at + 12,500 for the day.

i only put 745,000 of my million in play.

tomorrow i play it all.

would be a lot more fun if you trade during the day. but i understand why you cant. not everybody is sitting in front of their computer all day.

wno, this format could keep the pro's from winning it.......... its a portfolio challenge and not a trading challenge........ there is the key.......

i made $7450 today.............

at least i think..........

got most of my eggs in one stock tomorrow..........

remember you had to have your trades in buy the close of market today or they wont go in for tomorrow......

i sold out of the 4 i bought around 3:45.

i then placed orders for 3 others for tonight.

ended up right at + 12,000

i understand what youre saying about the challenge and agree with it.

but it far from being real and far from what they " trade like a wall street pro " ..

you should at least be able to place limits and stops.

if you buy 25 different stocks tonight . then turn around and sell all of them tomorrow by 3:59 and then buy 25 more.

that would be 50 trades tomorrow.

50 does seem like a lot of trades when you cant buy and sell during the day.

pretty strong opening day.

its becomming obvious that the strategy in this thing is to find stocks trading in the $ 1.00 to $ 5.00 range.

buy several hundred thousand shares and hope to get a 10 to 20 cent uptick. make 30 to 50 grand a day.

they should have made the rules to state that you could only use 25 % of your money in 1 stock.

Anyone that caught the bounce from the subprime lenders is probably in top few hundred.

i would bet quite a few people took a beating today.

the most used stock was down 25 % . and it was one that people were 225,000 shares of.

i am up $ 21,000 . i have only made 7 trades total .

i actually am playing this like i had 1,000,000 . not gambling on some 3 dollar stock buying 300,000 shares .

my personal goal is to make 25,000 a week .

i wish we could short stocks , cause i see another down turn coming.

i've been stuck in the top 20 % since day 1.

i think the leaders took a beating yesterday when NEW dropped over $ 1.00 . their were some people that owned 200,000 + shares of that dog.

The leader has over 800 portfolios entered? Each with a different stock? LOL

I guess I should write a program too to submit portfolios under new usernames.

I'll do one for every stock on each of the exchanges.

Still in top 2%, but fell to (4600-4700) place.

Fully invested as of today and think im up 110k.

Anyone that jumped in and then back out of subprime before they tanked is going to be tough to catch.
