Bill- I wish EVERYDAY was like being in Iowa City AFTER a football game..........win or lose.

One great great town to party in..........and the women are great!!!

Never been there, but did go to Lincoln for a CU game with my girl at the time. Lots of good looking women there, but you really have to be college age to get full benefits. Funniest thing though is as the Buffs were winning their first game in Lincoln in decades their chant was simply "we don't live in Lincoln". They had a great point there.

To be very honest with you, LINCOLN is nowhere comparable to IOWA CITY.

Hard to really describe unless you have been to both places.

IOWA CITY has that mini-Chicago feel to it is the best way to describe it.

Ok Fish, will take your word for it. Never been to Iowa, never had a reason to go. I have a hard time imagining anything being a mini-Chicago, never mind wanting to be one, but I will indulge you on this one. All I know is that midwestern college towns like Lincoln, Madison and West Lafayette underwhelmed me. I would much rather take a real town near real amenities that had a college in it, like say Evanston or Ann Arbor.
