A federal judge dismissed Ahmed Mohamed’s discrimination lawsuit against the city of Irving, Texas, and the Irving Independent School District, according to a Tuesday report by the Dallas Morning News.
[h=3]What are the details?[/h]Mohamed — dubbed by many in the media as “Clock Boy” — previously filed the federal lawsuit via his father in August 2016.
The lawsuit alleged that Mohamed’s civil rights were violated as a result of a September 2015 arrest stemming from an incident in which Mohamed brought a homemade clock to school that was initially taken for a bomb.
The Dallas Morning News reported that the suit sought unspecified damages.

According to a November 2015 report, however, attorneys representing Mohamed once demandedupward of $15 million in total from the city and school district through a letter.
Mohamed, who was 14 years old at the time, was charged with crafting a “hoax bomb,” but all charges against Mohamed were ultimately dropped.
U.S. District Judge Sam Lindsay ordered Tuesday that the suit against the defendants be “dismissed with prejudice” and that “all relief requested by plaintiff is denied.”
The City of Irving, in a statement obtained by the Dallas Morning News, said it is “extremely pleased by the court’s ruling, which supports the justifiable actions taken by the officers in the matter. We remain committed to ensuring the safety of all Irving residents and school children.”
[h=3]Anything else?[/h]Mohamed and his family also filed defamation lawsuits against Glenn Beck, CEO and founder of TheBlaze, and Ben Shapiro, editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire.
Both defamation lawsuits were dismissed in 2017.

he did not make a clock. He disassembled one to make it look like a timing device. He did it as a prank, and his family are activists.

we will see this kid on the news one day and not in a positive light.

C'mon beets. You're slipping. Put Obama's face inside that trash bag.

Naw. Don't do it. We don't want to make trash bags look bad.
