Except you have no proof anyone is creating anything, except demagogic speeches and 97% wrong computer models.

You're a loon.

Well, people much smarter than you say you are wrong... so I'm going to side with them, not going to lie!

Well yea, a lot of things have existed, doesn't mean you want to create them.

I thought the entire premise of global warming was it's man-made? Carbon footprints and all that.

Please explain how floods and droughts have increased since humans inhabited the earth. Be as specific as possible when showing the correlation that the former increased solely because of the latter and one wouldn't have happened without the other. It should be a layup for you since this is the foundation of your premise.

I don't know what extent man has contributed to the climate. People have told me that there are days in California and Oregon when it's hard to go outside because the smog is so bad. I fond it
hard to believe that we are not damaging the atmosphere with all the pollution. I mean that part makes sense to me but again I maybe skeptical about the rate at which it is and what we can do about it.

The entire premise of GoreBull Warming is this:

UN Climate Chief: We Are Remaking The World Economy

The United Nation’s climate chief says that reordering the global economy to fight climate change is the “most difficult” task the international body has ever undertaken.

“This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history,” Christiana Figueres, who heads up the U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, told reporters.

“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for the, at least, 150 years, since the industrial revolution,” Figueres said.

There you have it in black and white, errr, I mean commie red.

It may come as a shock to this ugly commie dyke but people aren't going back to living in caves.

These Marxists may be power-hungry... they are also dumber than dirt.

Lmao!! How can a top 10 MBA school graduate be this dumb?? No one is saying that humans have caused an increase in floods and droughts since they inhabited the Earth. They are saying the burning of fossil fuels (which is relatively recent) is causing the Earth to warm because the increase in CO2. They can see that by the melting of glaciers, increase in sea levels, etc. It is not going to flood tomorrow, or the next day, or probably even in 75 years. But if we continue to dump billions and billions of more tons of CO2 in the atmosphere the warming will continue and as it continues, sea levels will continue to rise and temperatures will continue to increase causing droughts throughout the world.

How do you not understand this?

Sea levels are not rising, you brainwashed imbecile.

  • - At most, global average sea level is rising at a rate equivalent to 2-3 inches per century. It is probably not rising at all.

  • - Modelling is not a suitable method of determining global sea-level changes, since a proper evaluation depends upon detailed research in multiple locations with widely-differing characteristics. The true facts are to be found in nature itself.

Nooooooooooooooo kidding.

NASA disagrees with you... and once again I'll believe the people who actually study and measure these things rather than the .com blogosphere. Sorry about your badass luck.

Sea level rise is caused primarily by two factors related to global warming: the added water coming from the melting of land ice and the expansion of sea water as it warms. The first chart tracks the change in sea level since 1993 as observed by satellites.

The second chart, derived from coastal tide gauge data, shows how much sea level changed from about 1870 to 2000.

I understand the fossil fuel argument just fine, Land O' Lakes. Except there are several major flaws and assumptions in it. That isn't "settled" science by any stretch.

- Where are the before and after studies which show without a doubt that fossil fuel burning causes the earth to warm? Again, if you're going to state a hypothesis, you need to have definitive proof that the effect will not take place without the cause. So, where is the data? Where? Hello, McFly? Show me! Where...?

- Some glaciers are melting, but others are actually expanding. How can that be explained if the globe is warming as a whole? If you put an ice tray full of water in the freezer, would it make sense for half of the ice to freeze while the other half doesn't?

- Think about how much fuel has been burned up already, then ask yourself how CO2 is only a small trace in the atmosphere (something like 0.035%). How low do you want to go, Cochise? And what evidence exists that we need to go lower? Don't forget that CO2 supports many life forms on the planet...even though the retards at the EPA have classified it as a pollutant. If someone could wave a magic wand and bring it down to zero, that would kill off a number of trees and plants (including many we need for our own survival, unless you plan on eating zero vegetables or fruit for the rest of your life). So, what's the proper level?

- There are other scientists who have theories that the ozone layer is kind of like a human body in the sense that it has the ability to filter out and discharge whatever it finds harmful. In other words, if CO2 became a problem...then yes, the ozone could shit out any excess CO2 back into outer space. Again, just a theory...much like your global warming.

That's just scratching the surface. So, like I said...let's see the before and after data before we can start calling this anything besides a theory.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for Western Pennsylvania, with record-breaking low temperatures possible Thursday night.
The advisory will be in effect from 1 a.m. Thursday to noon on Friday. Thursday's forecast high is 6 degrees, which would break a record for the lowest high temperature for the date, 9 degrees, set in 1936. The low of minus-8 forecast for Thursday night also would break a record set in 1936.
Wind chills during the advisory may plunge to 24 below zero, the weather service said. The weather service cautioned that people who venture outdoors are more at risk for frost bite and hypothermia if they’re not adequately bundled up.

Um, you are the scientific illiterate posting a graph with an end date of 1990.

Don't worry, you have no idea what the graph represents anyway.
