Anyone ever mess with them?
I am not missing teeth and shit, just have always wanted "better" teeth. I just DuckDuckGo'd it to get an idea of what it may cost. Was thinking maybe it would be 10k and I would consider it for both Wifey and I....but answer I found was 40k each....80k on teeth? I don't have that type money to spend on teeth. Is this accurate?

Work on your teeth is very expensive whether you want implants, veneers or whatever. Doesn't surprise me

Take care of what bothers you most first. Go from there

My teeth are "regular" if that makes sense. I envy a nice set of very white teeth. I would do it for 10k, but not for 40k.

MEXICO...get anything you want done in TJ same schooling, same equipment, same detail work.
I have dental insurance but not for implants. 12k here from my regular dentist 2500, in Mexico and my dentist was blown away with job.
Took two trips..and I ended up staying at a super nice casino hotel one night after the extraction..The Dentist arranged pick up at the boarder and transport to and from the hotel...Pretty interesting sounds crazy and I thought it wasn't a great idea till I went.

TJ isn't so bad and now a center for US medical care.

I'd do it again, hopefully I'll never need another implant somewhere along the line root canals and caps fell out of favor.

If whitening is the only thing you need done it should not cost that much maybe a 700-1000 a visit
You may need 2-3 treatments depending on how yellow they are

He had a nice set of chompers on him. Lol

I'm thinking of heading to the Dominican Republic when I break down and get the 3 implants I need. My dentist here got his implant training in the DR, and he's damn good, and really honest. Has saved me a ton of money over the years when he'd get away with fillings when another dentist wanted to do crowns. I haven't broke down and asked him where to go or if he was cool with me going (I wish he'd price match so I didn't have to go, but his wife is the office manager, and she's a bitch about money since she took over), but I did look at the price difference on what he quoted me last time I checked, and it was 3-4x cheaper in the DR, so I'm thinking when I can't take it anymore, I'll plan a trip to the DR and have a vacation around the procedure. Definitely something to consider and look it, along with this Mexico deal, but DR sounds cleaner and safer than Tijuana to me...lol

I can vouch for this as I have a couple of childhood buddies who live in San Diego and they've said many good things.

Hey Bozzie did you go to the Hong Kong? :103631605

I have a dental implant. Don't ever go to a corporate dental practice.

100% agree. The, what i call chains and or franchised. you know, they have offices across the country or even multiple states. Stay away. They are never good. Plus they try to up sell you on procedures. Stay away.

I agree, too, places like Crowns Now and Aspen...

Mexico and DR? I'd be very concerned.

The DR is legit as all get out, I know that for sure...

Sounds like Mexico is too, but it does sound more concerning, considering it's Tijuana as well. I mean the DR would be way cheaper for me anyways because I live on this side of the US. None of my needs are cosmetic, they're molars in the back that can no longer be filled, and I wouldn't go the front veneer route anyways as to me they stick out like a sore thumb and look fake from 50 feet away, and most aren't sized right and look like Mr. Ed, same goes for over white teeth, I'll keep my mildly stained coffee teeth and be thankful...

I do eventually need to get this done, though, because i'm afraid of sepsis or bone decay, eventually. Will make an appointment in the next few weeks and see what the estimate and route of fixing seems to be, and go from there...

I broke a tooth, a few years ago, the week before vacation. Went to Aspen Dental bc they were able to see me on short notice. They wanted $7500 for a bridge or $11k for an implant. They refused to make me a temp saying it was a liability since I didn't want to sign up for either treatment. Went to another dentist someone recommended and ended passing around $4k for both the dentist and oral surgeon after insurance. Best part is they made me a temp since it was my front tooth.
