I have been very much exploited by my friends over the years with unpaid debts.

I loaned my father in law 5k.

He didnt pay back shit for months until I told him I was going to have to put a lien on his house.

Moral of the story: Those who borrow dont have the means to pay back.

I know your talking about bets, which is different, but dont ever bet or loan anybody any money unless your betting into a good solid book. It just doesnt PAY.

The guy should have paid you the twenty, but you should ask him to pay it. That is the problem with lots of agents and bookies they are afraid of hurting someones feelings by asking them to pay their debt. If i never asked people that owe me to pay, i'd live in a dumpster. Only really solid people and people in the business will pay or offer to pay without being asked.

Kinda like selling, if you don't ask them for the order 9/10 times you won't get it.

Ask him to pay you the $20 if he does not pay you that day or the next then you can call him a turd.

My bro especially kills me with this. His thing is, he wants me to pay up front since he doesnt have the cash and he'll pay me back with his "first or next pay check"

My parents aren't any better. Probably gave up about 5k to my parents at a min and havent seen a dime back. Ah well. I guess thats what family is for.
