It’s very simple

People have lives

They force you to make the pick inside the state of Nevada
If an emergency comes up and life happens you might have to leave the state

Heck what if your guys mom died in NY the day before you sent in your pick to him?

That would be you with the no pick

Forcing you to be in the same state for 19 weeks is not practical

That why you have a proxy , so you don't have to show up every week in Vegas' If you have any kind of life, you definitely have a proxy. My guess with 4 people out. could be either 1 person with 4 entries, or the proxy fucked up somewhere.

Sharkey has a team man , most proxies have backups in place to prevent problems that come up.

There really is no reason why they should not allow people to enter the picks on their phone no matter what state

I understand making people come to Nevada to enter the contest and pay the entry but after that let people make the picks on their phones .

these laws are just dumb

I promise you the no pick % would go down to almost zero if that was the case

Bottom line , If you live out of the state of Nevada , you better get a reliable proxy to turn these picks in, preferably a team proxy, like what Sharkey offers. I remember my first year in the Westgate contest I needed a proxy. Woofdaddy was looking for a new proxy also at the time. So he found one that we could use.. I think the guy was cheap . Dude was a disaster. Saw some early signs that the proxy part of this whole contest thing could be an issue. Terrible communication, and was concerned every week whether the picks would even get turned in. He worked by himself also , which isn't a good idea. He was one and done.

It would be interesting to find out why these picks didn't get turned in. I don't remember this as an issue this late into this contest.
