You think many picked the Saints?

I take it you didn't
No, I stay away from those Chop sharp selections.. Pretty much dumb plays for me :lmao:

I think a few got on the Saints. Lawrence being banged up probably swung a few over to them

Not sure he is involved in Survivor. I think he's just putting in his 2 cents.
Yeah he got knocked out of the big two-strike in Week 3 or something

He overthinks it IMO

Believe it or not, it's not terrible to have the most owned team every week

Sorry this was poorly phrased

It’s not bad if you have the most owned team some weeks

Rams a good example

Maybe Seattle this week

I'm a chalk city type of guy, on survivor

1) chalk
2) home
3) good matchup
4) not division rival
5) weak opponent

It's not always possible to have all five, but 3 or 4 out of 5 ain't bad

And shit happens, any team can go down on any given week

PS; I don't save teams for the future. The most important thing is getting to the future

Probably 1 or 2 on Saints or Jaguars or both. And probably 1 or 2 that didn't bother with picks this week .

My guess is Seattle will be 50% used this week. Don't want to really be there in that spot, but the other options remaining are less than appealing.

I'm guessing we got at least 10 on the Saints yesterday.

Thanksgiving day is when this really becomes a contest.
You just have to get there first.

If you're alive, do you have to pick a Thanksgiving Day game? If you do, that's obviously a game changer. You have to save one solid play for that day in order to win it all.

If that's just the week you have to start making two picks, then that day becomes less important.

And that's where a little more luck is needed :)

Nevermind, I just read the contest rules

Special rules for Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks

You do have to save two teams, or hope the contest is over before Christmas

Those two holidays are always in the back of your mind with this process. Could be an awful Xmas for you having to depend on the Giants to beat the Eagles in Philly.

The Thanksgiving and Christmas as stand alone weeks could very well be the end of the line for most left. Tough games with limited teams available.

In fact, my opinion is that this thing is over either on or shortly after Thanksgiving. I don't think it goes until Christmas.

Also on Seahawks. Wanted really badly to take Vegas here with Bagent starting for Bears. But road game with backup QB makes this one tough.

This is possible. Another Survivor pool single strike I am in lost 9% of entries on New Orleans last night. 9% of the remaining 1789 would be approximately 160 people. That would be great. My calculations on the Commanders earlier this year on Thursday were way too light. But that game had much higher spread.

You are forced to take 1 of the 8 teams playing on Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday

You are also forced to take 1 of the 6 teams playing on Xmas day
