I would think the field gets a little sharper going forward and less % of spew picks...Now that people can see the $ a bit, they probably stop firing so many off the wall picks.

I don't see the money, wish I did but so so so much to get through. One entry, I'm giving my best every week. I've thought about what it may feel like to be alive in week 15 with 20-60 other entires, just wow. LFG

Yeah, the money is far far away still. The good news is we are in the 20% that are here. I wonder at what point in a contest like this that remaining contestants start talking about chopping. Also wondering how that happens as well with everyone being anonymous. Fun things to think about, but everyone alive still needs a lot to go their way to get the $.

Impossible to chop in a contest like this

Only thing you can do is if you make it to the final week I’d bet the money line on the opposite side of your last pick for as much money as the sportsbooks will allow

Unless you totally used up all your decent options by then the bet would be + money

I heard that last year the 3 left at the end worked out some sort of chop. Wasn't sure how they did it. Yes, the hedge at the end will definitely be on the table.

This week there are some options, but next week looks like we all may be dipping our toe into some interesting teams.

id go straight to the Sportsbook manager Tuesday Am or take an ad out, if I were one of 2 or 3 teams on the last weekend, I would sure want to chop. However, as a practical matter would need Circa involved to secure terms and $$. we all agree, we are a lifetime from that point but its great to be in the last 20% and alive to discuss!!! GL ALL

exactly, I've already used two lives with Washington Week 1 and the Eagles in OT vs Washington.
My guess is teams that survive until last few weeks endure 5-6 of those glorious NFL finishes that require Lady Luck to smile on us.

Maybe you can sell your entry :)

When we started out 10-0 in the Hilton / Westgate contest maybe 15 years ago, Judge Wapner was on our team along with BAS, RT and somebody else, we were offered 5k for our entry (which cost $ 1,500)

WE should have sold :). JW was the only one to want to sell

I Wouldn't take 25k right now, the path is brutal but I looked through each week and can see through it all and being alive for the last few weeks. Good Luck boys

It's like cashing out of a bet in the first quarter that I think I can win which is why I entered to begin with. who cares what the tickets worth today when in 12 weeks it will be worth millions to anyone holding one. LFG
