Worked
long hours at GM plant and partied even harder , got old trying to collect from friends and co workers , and my GF's last husband who died of cancer years back was a bookie , she hated him spending so much time booking bets and paying and collecting and cursing the bad beats...it gets ugly , I promised her i would not take bets or make bets , yet here i am betting again. She is a great woman and we are retiring to beach area or maybe florida in less than a year together. I need to stop , She don't mind me betting horses at the track with friends once a week , but the betting almost every night, like i have been recently takes its toll. Retired since 09' with a great pension and benefits , I need to stop gambling for sure. Hard to quit after betting for 42+ years.
