I'd like to drop you a line Kodiak because I know your picks are good; let me know how. Smokey, if you're so good then start posting picks in these forums and prove it. Until you do that I'll lump you in with Root, Feist, Rothstein, et al.

Guys There Seems To Something Ur Missing Here. There Is A Difference Between A Tout And A Legit Service. A Tout Puts Out A Zellion Plays A Day And Hopes At Least A Few Win So He Can Hype Those Winners. A Tout Gives U Phone Calls All Hrs Of The Day. Some Touts Give Out Both Sides Of A Gm.

Some Guys Can't Pick Their Nose So They Turn To A Service. There Are Some Legit Services Out There And I Think C-lucks Is A Legit One. I've Never Heard Of Any Of The Above Said About Him. Kodiak Says Don't Ever Pay For Picks And I Say To Each His Own.

The Best Way To Try To Beat The Man Is Follow Who Ever U Want, study, And Gather As Much Info As Possible Here Or Elsewhere, But If Ur Lazy And/or Don't Have The Time To Put In Then Find A Legit Guy To Follow And Pay For Picks And Hope They Have A Great Yr,but Its Up To You.

I Like To Follow Smokeys Picks Here And We Do Not Agree On Some Plays But When Our Systems Are On The Same Page I Win More Than Lose. But I Guess What I'm Saying Is Its Your Choice, They Don't Have To Pay The Man On Tues, We Do!!!!

I usually stay out of this nonsense but I'm met Chuck Luck in Vegas. I don't care for touts at all. I thought Chuck was a pretty cool guy. I tend to side with the guys that show up in person and talk. I'm pretty sure Chuckie wouldn't back down from someone getting in face. By the way his picks have been pretty solid. Over and out.

Hey Big Belcher...all you have to do is look through the threads (like NCAA football and NFL football, just to name 2!!!) and you will be abler to read his picks and some of his comments to other guys re: their and his picks...Unlike the "touts" that you mentioned previously, Chuck does post his plays here very very often...you NEVER see Root, Fiest, Rothstein etc personally post here..only see their picks in the Services thread....Look around ...there is some great info available here.....GL

PS....this wkend take Toledo. Mizzou and Oregon for some good ez $$$$$$:drink:

At the risk of being ridiculed, I have decided to post my thoughts on this matter.

First of all, I have posted in the past that both these parties are an asset to the Forum and their posts are awaited with great anticipation. Without dragging my posts out, basically, to Smokey, I asked him not to be so ambiguous in his posting ( Huge as opposed to large, bet as opposed to like, leaning etc) sooner or later, people will challenge dubious posts. This is because a Forum like this generates a family type environment and anything that looks like taking advantage of it is attacked immediately. No better a person than Kodiak (if he was a fish, he would gone along ago) to rise to the occasion. The last time he came back to this Forum, I asked him to concentrate on picks, not wasting his time argueing with people.

If Smokey decides to post more Forum friendly, there souldnt be a problem. As for Kodiak, he must learn not to bite on every negative post. I see raiders return has caused another stir. Once Kodiak gets in this zig, his capping is seriously affected and that is no good to him or the Forum.

How about a truce between two of the best on here. Do what I say and everybody will be happy. I am sure the majority of people on here are like me and do not take sides in this arguement but just wish you could get on with solid capping and posting.

As a final thought, both of you are not without making your posts look better than they are but results will always relax a few indiscrections.

I know that Kodiak's been doing well this year. I've heard that Smokey has been struggling so far. Does anyone have Smokey's approximate winning percentage for this football season? I do remember that Smokey said that he will hit 70% of his NFL picks after week 4, so this should be the time to ride his picks.
