he's -222 for the day. if LA wins and Arizona loses he'll be -144. If Arizona wins and LA loses, he'll be -300. If both win, he'll be +348 for the day. If both lose, back to the drawing board, -792.

Yep, If I lose every game on the board the rest of the day it wont faze me.

Believe me folks, this is such a small sample to the season. Every damm year I have a run of bad luck like this. It just looks worse right now because its at the beginning. This is only a 30 unit swing. +12(at Peek)-17(lowpoint) That is very comman. If you count spring training in still up for the season. Lets let this play out.

I still may have a winning day today. :money8:

Not trying to speak for everyone, but all the whining and bitching happens when the frustration gets the better part of the people. I'm sure everyone here who aren't new on the rx know that you are a winner. So don't need to take it too personal about it Chop. It's just everyone hates to be on the losing side, that's all.

I'm rooting for LA to win because it's one of the games I picked. I don't make your picks, but look in at your thread to see how you are doing so good luck with the Dodger game. Don't care about the other one.

Its easy say this after a week of the season but you are mostly correct. The pirates and nationals (expos) have been losers for a long time and although its trendy to say "this is the year," its either bet against them or pass. If they do win 2 or 3 in a row, sure, pick a spot in the season and jump on if you think they are ready to go on a run. Otherwise, imho i believe that betting on these bad teams in baseball is like shooting darts, hoping you hit a bulls eye once in a while. Having said all this, i believe that Chop should take a 2 or 3 day hiatus, analyze what may have gone wrong, and come back with a clear head. Picking winners is mostly about being in good rythym, and we ALL lose it from time to time. Im positive he will come back strong.

I dont worry about the negitive comments. (as long as people arent telling outright lies about me) false record etc.. If you want to say I suck thats Ok with me.

This is why. Out of about an average of about 5000 views a day, I know that only about 1000 of them at the very most understand the mentality of sportsbetting. Im being very liberal with those numbers. Its probably closer to only about 500. I do this for the 500 people that get "it". Not for the 4500 that dont.

I will have my 9th straight season of winning bases! No doubt in my mind. Regardless if the Yankees hold on or not. And I know there are about 500 people that will benifit, while the other 95% will countinue to lose year after year after year after year.

Good luck.

Well stated Chop, I've been wagering for 38 years and I do understand money mgt and streaks, it's just the luck of the draw that this current rough streak is at the start of the season, it will turn around much sooner than later.....you are truly a professional and know what you are doing, just don't press as I'm sure you know that as well as I do. I don't post much but I have been with you for a while and will continue to stay with you. Thanks for posting your plays..........

hi chop, have followed you since exb season last year. you were an unknown quantity here at that time but i could tell you had confidence and knowledge! i was correct and still am. so hang in there, the only difference this year is the shaky ten days has occurred early instead of later on. i feel that you can select your way through the slump or take a few days off through the slump, and either way have good results. last year you took a breaK and came back on a hot streak. your supportrs here know you are the real deal, so thanks for your contibutions and best of luck.

keep fighting the good fight chop and you know things will turn.. Every gamblers goes through hot streaks and slumps,, its no differnent then a baseball players batting average.. some guys start off hot and others start off cold, but it balances out over a whole season for the most part,, gambling is the same way..goodluck with your late games today..
