GL tonight Chop. I just made the stupid play of the day. It never fails I do something off the wall and end up losing while everyone else wins. I'm going with your thinking partially and going with the Giants to win the first 5 innings for my big wager. And then I'm going with a parlay with SF/Under for a smaller wager. I'm thinking Lincecum will have a better shot when the Phillies bats haven't had a chance to figure him out (early in the game). It's also a beautiful day here in the city so the batters may have a decent amount of sun in their eyes early in the game. If the phenom starts off well, and with Bonds out...hopefully the total will stay under. I also think the Giants are significantly better on defense with Bonds out of the lineup (but admittedly don't have the numbers at hand to justify that statement).

Actually, I just talked myself into the Under for my biggest bet of the year...what am I doing!

I suspect some of that line movement is that. Lincecum is in his first start so everyone's going with the "rookie" thing. Maybe they'll be right but it's a bit of a crap shoot at this point.

Do you have any idea what takes a line to move late like that?? I am pretty sure its the smart money. Pinnacles line moved from -120 to -133 in a matter of 30 minutes, thats a HUGE movement.

You deserve all the criticism that you will get for this play.

Im a big fan of yours but the attention whoring you created for this play was ridiculous. And the fact that Lincecum was just okay tonight added to it. The Giants gave you the runs you needed to win (5 is more than enough on any other day) - Lincecum was just plain average. 100 pitches in 4 innings? And because he was the main reason you capped this game as the Play of the Year, you deserve the criticism. Just take it like a man and dont bitch about it. :youmad:
