I never play a set number of plays. I play what the card gives me. Sometimes thats 0 games, sometimes it 9 games.
Today is one of those huge days. I have them rarely, but today is an exception.
I have been very light with my plays this season so far. Only 70 plays in the first month. I normally average about 100 plays per month.

Best day of the season yesterday. Except for one bad 3 day bump about 3 weeks ago, the whole season has been going very nicely.
I had a huge card yesterday, but went 6-1. As long as there is value, big cards are ok.

Could not find anything worth while yesterday. Its a good thing I laid off. The 2 games I semi liked both lost. Lets call that a nice laydown day, and move on to today which is much better, at least on paper.

Barely missed out on a $1000 night. The only thing that cost us was a pitching change in the St Louis/Houston game. By the time I found out there was a change, the game was about to start. I would have most certainly taken the new matchup. But we will have to settle for no action and a $700 night.

Spent almost an entire day thinking about the last 3 days. Went from almost +40 to +20. basically lost half the season in 3 days. Thats the 2nd time this year thats happened. In mid April went from +22 all the way down to +2 in 3 days. We have had 2 really bad 3 day runs this year. Other than that its been winning baseball the whole rest of the time.
Said all of that to say this, thats why MM is important. If you played the games the way I have you are still up 20 units. If you pressed while I was hot your probably broke. Its a long season. Im going to do my best to forget about the last 3 days, especially yesterday, and not let the last 3 days affect the rest of the season.
Long term perspective is we are still on pace to win over 100+ units this season. Thats the most important thing. And if you played the games the same way I did, we are still on house money.

In my system, the ASTROS are only a 2 unit play, but ROY OSWALT is 18-1 lifetime against the REDS. I figured that fact alone justifies adding another unit to this selection.
