If there are no fans then the ratings are gonna be way down - but yeah, this whole BLM stuff ain't helping ratings - that's for sure

Random thoughts

1) Interesting points about the low ticket demand, I thought it would be higher. I'd go given the opportunity, maybe people aren't interested in only being part of the 16,000 or maybe people are waiting to see if attending creates a spike in new cases. We do know part of the population is scared, but I'd still expect higher demand for 16,000 seats

2) Nothing I saw yesterday was over the top repulsive, save for the fact that some are honoring a thug with a long rap sheet. I think the NBA under LeBron's leadership was a bigger turnoff

3) Republicans want part of "cancel culture"? Damn that's funny

4) Just like companies have realized they may not need so much office space any more, fans may have realized they don't need sports. Might take a while to fully recover

Once I got settled in from work and practice last night I flipped the game on. It was early 2Q. Thought the game commentating was pretty good. The product on the field for Houston was tough to watch. Halftime show came on and spent most of it talking about current environment of culture and change that's coming........so I turned it off. No place for that during any point of the broadcast. If espn wants to discuss on SC, that's more of a place for that conversation. I assume if this behavior continues it will kill the nfl viewership

Too bad that those of you who didn't watch missed Chris Collingsworth's deep thoughts on social issues. That was just what America needed huh? No reason to watch the pre-game and half time show. I think other teams and the league will take note of the boo's from the KC fans during the team's pre-game demonstration. Good for those fans as they had the opportunity to do in person what many will do via lack of viewership.
