Let me tell ya, the Flames were down 4-3 with a little over 5 minutes to play. To watch them come back and score 3 goals in 5 minutes and take the Wings out, and get the win on the Puck Line, that was the most satisfying win of the season.
Paul Newman was right - money won is twice as sweet as money earned.

So did I. Calgary has the most 3rd period goals of any NHL team, and when they got that short handed goal to tie it, I told my wife I thought there was a good chance this bet could actually come in. Detroit is a young, not very good team, and I think the wind got sucked out of their sails last night. With 2 more games on this far West road trip in Vancouver and Edmonton, I think there's a good shot they go 0-3 before returning home. I just hope the prices are right. Though I think the PLs may be the way to go on the 20th and 22nd.
