Every married man "wants" to sleep with other women. If you're a man, that is how you're wired genetically and nothing will change it. I remember reading some scientist's theory that after a man bangs a woman, he'll only find her attractive for about four more years on average...then he'll start thinking of moving on to the next conquest.
But the temptation to do it and actually following through on it are two very different things. Having been married for a couple months now, I still look at other women and appreciate their beauty by thinking to myself "Wow, she's hot as fuck." It's impossible not to. But I'd never attempt do anything about it even if I knew I could get away with it...because I'd bet the lives of my entire family that my wife would never in a million years do that to me. I'd feel like the world's biggest prick if I devastated her like that all because I couldn't follow through on a promise I made.

Men and women are wired a little differently though.
A married woman will cheat and leave their husband with little remorse if they feel they are improving their station in life. Whether it is bettering their financial situation and/or in the process finding somebody more attractive and more exciting regardless of how happy they are at home.
A man wil cheat with a woman who is either less or more attractive than their wife. In more cases than not the cheating husband usually is involved in an unhappy marriage and he is being deprived at home of sex and companionship.
Women are more cold-blooded in this department. No matter how good a man treats a woman they feel ignored and get ungrateful and think they can do better in life. Men surrender to marriage due to obligation (unplanned pregnancy), loyalty or they were given an ultimatum (marry me or I am leaving). So men have a tendency to get content when they are married and treat their wife more like a +1 than the love of their life.

comes down to one thing, as I have been tempted for the past 14 years but never went through with it: Will your conscience let you move on? For me answer is always no. I have a 9-year old son as well. How would I feel if my dad did the same thing to my mom when I was that age? Conscience keeps me in check.
Plus why take a chance to spread disease to your family for 20 minutes, is it worth it?
