in defense of both messi and cristiano ronaldo these guys take dives at least 5x/game but they're going at full speed and running 8K per match, busting through 3-4 defenders seemingly every time they touch the ball.

what ribery does is way different. first of all the guy NEVER makes a run toward the box. he's a lazy prick that hangs out with his back to goal 50 yards away in midfield and when a guy gets close to him he violently whips and distorts his body around...not to draw a free kick in a good position (since he's in MF) but to beg for a yellow card. I hate fn players like him. That's not even flopping it's unsportsmanlike shit. Ashley Young is moving in that direction now.

talking about diving...gomez? wow. dude is built like a redwood and and stays on his feet less than a newborn deer. no use for him either

well messi might dive once in awhile..(you only have to watch the first 20 seconds).i actually like messi and hope barca take care of chelski but messi dives....c. rinaldo does run a thousand miles an hour but i wish when he does fall he doesn't look at the ref or throw his hands up so much. Guys are going to touch once in awhie and that doesn;t mean it is a foul. It was very hard to watch this despite some nice plays....too many guys lying down trying to get yellow cards on both sides and the clear red card doesn't get called. I guess us that grew up following other sports just cannot accept the part of soccer than most of the world is okay about...time wasting, diving and howard webb getting so many big games. Haha....

oh well, like i said why complain when you win a bet but perhaps i am still piss about the performace vs wigan yesterday..ugh

Santos vs The Strongest
- same bet as last month against The Strongest in Brazil. Then it was a 5-0 Inter win but now they are playing the best offense in South America. Santos lost the away match but missed at least 4 simple chances as TS' defense is a complete joke. I don't see Santos being held to less than 4 goals and could even see a 6 or 7 goal match. The past 13 times a Brazilian team hosted Bolivian opponent they are 13-0-0 47/1 including 5-0, 6-0, and 7-0 Santos wins. The Strongest easily the worst away team in this tourney and actually just won on the road in local league for first time in over a year, breaking a 23 match winless streak. In Copa Libertadores they have lost 11 straight road games, 9 by shutout. Santos looking for a big win to qualify as one of the top 4 teams in quarterfinals and to be sure of being group winner and avoid teams like Inter, Boca, and Vasco who will be the top 2nd place group finishers. I think you'll see a 2 or 3 goal HT lead then Santos cruising to a 5-0 or bigger win.

so we all betting Barca today? I doubt we will see the same strategy Madrid had yesterday.....guns a blazin' and that slow defense and lack of anything good from chelski should be evident. Even Chelski know it is over with their lineup vs Tottenham on the weekend. As a Gooner i would never back chelsea so perhaps my bias is showing but isn't this a 2-0 3-0 road win? Barca score early and often and prepare for Madrid while chelsea tries to score in the 2nd half.

2-0 HT 3-0 FT Barca...my guess. No bet yet - i would like to hear from others if people are out there

hate spanish water sports...diving is 4 diving boards at yer community pool or backyard if yer lucky enough to have one...all the right bounces/calls have gone roman's way lately, haven't they?....i have no opinion today...sorry..this is a game of two evils to me...no one wins

well, i really don't think chelsea will get blanked at home but i root against both of these teams so i have no idea what to expect. both playing best they have all season but chelsea seem to have a hard time keeping anyone off the board. I'd probably go with 1-2 or 1-3 if i was betting

yeah i went over instead of the side...just to cheer for goals and maybe see torres score vs a spanish side...last ditch EURO effort and all. Drogba is starting instead of him though so maybe 2nd half to make it 3-1 Barca. I wonder how cahill will fare...my guess is piss poor. I took sanchez to score instead of messi too...messi probably well but -163 isn't tempting to me

GL - let's hope for an entertaining match

took a little 2H o1.5 at evens. barca wasted some good chances and chelsea got a goal i didn't think would come based on first 45' of action. should be 2 in barca unless they equalize and retreat like madrid did in germany

i fear the 1-1 draw now but nice to get one goal...i can't see drogba playing much more in the second half...he keeps getting shot in the leg by a sniper in the crowd. I hope he enjoys china because those games aren't on tv here.....or better yet play in the USA. I would love TFC fans to throw beer cans at that guy

a lot of floppers....but i guess that's how you make CL semi-finals...one early barca goal and then the killer goal at the death? 1-2 I hope so.
