Dinamo Zagreb travel to face FK Vardar Skopje at the Philip II Arena in the first leg of their Champions League second round qualifier on Tuesday trading as massive 1/10 favourites to progress into the third round and as 4/7 favourites to win in regulation-time.

This in another interesting duel in the second qualifying round of the Champions League as it puts together two teams who used to play in the same league in former Yugoslavia; it is Macedonian Vardar and multiple champion of Croatia, Dinamo Zagreb. Both teams have defended titles in their countries. Dinamo played last season in the group phase of the Champions League where they besides five defeats won Arsenal from London, while Vardar got stuck in the second qualifying round against Cyprus APOEL.

Vardar will not go anywhere. Dinamo Zagreb is a better team. Don't forget that the Croatians won 1-2 at Filip II. And even if they manage to pass this round then it will be Dinamo Tbilisi to kick them out of the competition.
